WO-S is 3-0 Kirbyville is 1-2 You're totally right...we are 1-2..against really tough "3A"Teams and I think WOS played a great game, however, by all the posts I've read and how underrated everyone from WOS thought Kville was, Kville was by far the better team tonight! Oh well we will move on and play Liberty next week, hopefully come out with the win over there and head into district with our heads held high! We played tough against ya'll tonight and they deserve to be lifted up! Lets just say that Kirbyville is the best 1-2 in the STATE. :)

What are you talking about LILTEX, all I said is that without the pass interfrence call, which was a good call by the refs, WO-S holds a very good Dayton to 0 points.

That is me over on 3a Downlow and what I wrote is fact. That was not the WOS JV. I don't know if someone just doesn't understand or they are trying to make an excuse for us giving up a TD to Dayton. Personally, I don't see the big deal. We gave up one TD on the first series then handled them pretty well after that. Dayton is a good team, one TD at the start is not something to be alarmed about. I agree with you Gas, and if not for the 4th and 17 pass interfence call the Mustangs hold a very good Dayton team to 0 points.

LCM played Texas City to a scoreless scrimmage while the JV and Freshmen outscored TC according to first year LCM Coach Randy Crouch. "I was pleased with the effort for a first scrimmage," he said. "We were on the 6 yd line when the game ended. One concern I have following the game is that we have to do a better job making sure we have the right people in the right situations. Those teammates were Orange (Texas) West Orange-Stark stars [db]Trey Franks[/db] and defensive back [db]James Haynes[/db]. The two prospects are among the fastest in all of the Lone Star state and apparently Franks wanted his commitment to happen as quickly as one of his touchdowns on Friday night. "I had been thinking about us going to Oklahoma together since when they offered me," Franks said. "James had his offer pretty early on but as soon as they offered me I kind of liked the idea of us playing together up there." Franks, who is the third of his group of brothers to play college football in the Big 12 south, says that familial ties to the state were a big part of his reasoning for liking Oklahoma. Interestingly enough those ties run through Stillwater and in particularly Oklahoma State's football program. "Actually my grandfather played at Oklahoma State and he now lives in Tulsa, I've also got an aunt that lives in Oklahoma City," he said. "So it will be real good to have some family close to me when I'm up there." The receiver who took home the Texas 3A state 100-meter championship with a blistering 10.36-second time has the time of game-changing ability that perhaps Oklahoma has lacked at receiver and in the return game the past few years. "Oh yeah, I'm done, I'm glad to have this behind me," he said. "I can just focus on my senior year and I know that I've got a teammate coming with me."

I agree. I don't think it was thought of any other way. I am just curious how Thompson was "misquoted". Thompson was saying to only place he will play on defense is at defensive backfield no other position on defense.
