Alex Hackett has signed to play with NCAA Div II Mississippi College. She is a 2012 LCM graduate and played her first two years at San Jacinto JUCO.
They were Division II up until twenty years ago. MC is now Division III. -

I was right all along!

Both Rutledge and Dallas will be fighting for the starting quarterback job! The best will play!
-
I hope the Mustangs still wear their throwback uniforms for homecoming!

Look at this! That would boost the economy and bring new jobs to the area for this long overdue Super Wal-Mart! Does this make an impact to this area? Here is the link:

If it is confirmed, the pants should be still gray with navy and white stripe.

I just seen a picture of one of my friends' cousin on Facebook wearing a new uni for WO-S. Is this true that they have new unis for the upcoming season?

The man use to be a coach. Who cares if he didn't play sports. He got a school district back on its feet academically, which is far more important than sports. Or at least thats what we all try and
pretenderrrr say in formal terms.
Dr. Thomas played football at Texas A&I in Kingsville back in the late 60's. -
I feel sorry for the current faculty and staff as well as other who are currently employed at BISD about the situation they had to go through! They are hard working men and women who went through all that trouble trying to make a living for themselves and their families!

Is that Canadian pipeline still suppose to go thru PA? If so that will bring families into the area as well, I think that will cause growth in Mid-county.
Yes, Sir! It is proposed, though. It will impact the local economy if it does. -
Could it be BC, OF, and Silsbee join PNG, Ned, and Central in their district? Could be!
-
Maybe Ozen shouldn't have been opened. They probably have been losing students to other schools like WB or Central. Twenty years ago, there were two 5A schools. Plus it would be more cost-effective if one of the schools close. Would WB join PNG and Ned in their district? I don't know with all of the new construction in the area. Parents in BISD nowadays send their children to private schools.

God Bless All of the Fathers in the World!

Oh, the quality of a school district matters when it comes to enrollment.
-
I'd wish every team would wear throwback jerseys on homecoming annually like the Mustangs have been doing! Would that be nice?

I thought the plant expansions going to bring new permanent jobs but it may have been unchanged! We thought enrollment in schools will swell as a result of economic growth! The population in theses areas are dropping because of the economy. For example, in 2002, Newton County's biggest employer, Louisiana-Pacific, closed its Bon Wier sawmill which left a devastating blow not only to their local economy but the Jasper-Newton area as well! Their area as well as the East Texas region has became a prime retirement location for the "Baby Boomer" generation so the only job growth in the area is healthcare!
Hardin County is one of the fastest growing in the area! Lumberton has just opened their ER! I had thought it was going to open in Silsbee which would serve not only all of the county but Southern Jasper and Tyler Counties as well! Could Lumberton drop down? It would probably be temporarily? -
Jobs are scarce in the Jasper-Newton area except in healthcare. Fewer job growth I mean! However, it is turning into a retirement destination for the baby boomer generation so only healthcare is the job growth right now!

Some things never will change!

Friday, August 29, 2014 PN-G vs Clearlake. Nothing like starting the season off at the Reservation.
Lumberton vs HF and PNG vs CL I bet will be expected to be standing room only crowds! -
Their games will be either played at their old stadium or at a neutral site!

Upcoming sophomore Jack Dallas will take the role. He is also expected to fight for the starting quarterback job, too.
