No Pass No Play Participation in UIL sanctioned activities is a privilege not a right. If a student-athlete does not have a passing grade at the end of the grading period, he/she is ineligible.

I bet Harbaugh won't take any more chances when the Michigan job is vacant only if it were. Both him and Miles played and/or coached for Coach Bo Schembechler.

Harbaugh or Miles should have been named head coach at UM years ago but both have chosen to stay at their jobs.

AD/coaches should work with student-athletes who have cars and parents to provide carpools for those who do not have ways to and from those activities. Agree?

As manager, I have witnessed a lot of great games! The best ones are the games during the Mustangs' State Finalist run of 2000! We almost lost to Nederland that year and also almost lost to Ozen! We managed to survive!

WO-S is in a weak district so they will dominate although non-district doesn't matter but it will be tough! They are facing teams that went to the playoffs last season. I remember back in 2000 when the Mustangs played non-District teams and it was very tough! 3-4 teams out of five went to the playoffs the previous season (Ozen, Jasper (did not qualify), Bay City, Lamar Consolidated, and Central (may went to the playoffs)) and went through ok although we did upset Bay City (they were the number one team in the Houston area and like #3 team in State polls coming into the game) and survived Ozen (sloppy game and eventually became District champs in their district).

Another thing to save money would be go back to two high schools. I've been saying it for a while now. There's no reason with Beaumont population declining to have 3 high schools. You would have alot less cost in the athletic department, less travel, etc.
Ozen shouldn't have been opened in the beginning. BISD is better off with 2 5A(6A) schools. It was meant something that way. Ozen's enrollment is probably declining. I feel bad for the school district these days on what they had to go through! -

It will be competitive with LCM and Silsbee in the district! LCM will be both at Jasper and Silsbee in '14 and it will be tough for them to beat these two! Jasper or Silsbee had been favorites to win the District Championship!

Speaking of Iowa, they will expect to contend for their division which will be tough with Nebraska and Wisconsin! They have a good team this season!
When Miami gets revenge on Louisville. Miami vs Nebraska will be a ranked game. Gameday will be at Lincoln on the 20th. -
They have to earn their spots on the team! It is not just given to them!
