I think Baytown beat Nederland several years back and it was Nederlands only district loss that year might have beat them 2 years in row
Are you talking about Goose Creek Memorial?

All of Beaumont this year:
Public 1-19
private 7-13
Total. 8-32
Are you forgetting something? Public should be 2-18 because United won over both WB and Alvin this season.

What a game. Memorial forgot to get on the bus. Overwhelming lack of preparation and heart. Coaches game plan…was.. Non-existent..not even sure what it was. They couldn’t get anything going on offense.. They didn’t want that game man. They went in there unprepared. That’s on the coaches. Big time. The players..lacked the will to wanna win…lacked concentration. They were not focused out there. The defense..wow. They made y’all look bad out there. What happened? Y’all have to be better than that. It’s only one week. But the way of defeat…is inexcusable. It’s all done now though. Turn the page and on to next week. The team as a whole needs to really get it together..quick.
Credit to the Hill. They went out there and took care of business. They hit PA with a left then a right…and just kept swinging..lol. Memorial couldn’t do anything about it. Great job to you guys.
Agree! PAM was not prepared. They did not play as well as expected and those were the results! If they want a deep run in the playoffs, the need to be extremely prepared and play better than expected. The penalties and turnovers are the reason games are lost. No excuses period.

Not with the numbers they turned in. But they should be 5a. No way they only gained 20 kids in the last two years. Lumberton is growing like CRAZY
It's likely because families are having less kids and likely empty nesters are moving over there. That is my prediction.

Where are all the Beaumont kids going to school?
Likely to the private schools in the area (only if some people could afford it).

I’ve gone a feeling the the Kelly HC will resign after the season because of this. Thoughts?!
Coach Long will likely will. He is trying to make the program competitive but not successful. These young men worked very hard for this program.

I am not sure if it's legal or not, why couldn't they just simply do the drop kick for an extra point? I remember back in the 2005 NFL season when Doug Flutie of the New England Patriots made a successful attempt. Here is the video:

I know that high school football is a way of life in Texas but however, I don't understand. Do they need a new stadium when they already have a big one? Prosper used to play their games at some middle school which used to be their high school (which probably middle school/junior high and Sub-varsity games are played there now as well as soccer). Could that money better used toward something else like spending on teachers and students?

If the Mustangs were to lose this one unexpectedly, there is going to be a very long season! Period. No questions asked but hopefully they can pull this one out!

FYI: The first two head football coaches at West Brook are African-American: Alex Durley and Joe Nolan.

This is such a load of crap, I don't like they guy and wish he would get out of politics but this is pathetic.
I agree! Trump getting indicted is a bunch of garbage! Why isn't Biden indicted? He should be and so should his son, Hunter!

What the heck is this? Coach Mathews had a great run, though! Hats off to him!

Also, here is something interesting. I believe that Nederland residents are better educated. The percentage of the residents having a bachelor's degree are more than Port Neches and Groves. Does anyone agree with that? Although it mainly does not matter because many residents work in the petrochemical industry which may not require such degree. Here is the link and do your research:

Merry Christmas to all of the SETXSports followers! Have a great day, y'all!

Congrats to Memorial on the win! Barely escaped from a Great Frisco Wakeland team that is from an area that produces great athletes! DFW has greater athletes from SETX but SETX pulled it off!
