I want to say how much I appreciate the way our kids have been working their butts off this year.  We have been playing hard for the entire 48 minutes.  I would also like to say the effort that they put forth to force 5 turnovers and be the first team since PNG in week 0 to hold Silsbee under 40 points was remarkable.  Thanks for all your hard work!  Keep it up through this week.  Coach Hud

I read a book from the 60's that was named "The Run and Shoot".  Had a lot of the spread formations and throwing crossing routes along with the inside runs.  I am not sure about the exact title, but my stepdad had the book from his early coaching days.

Some people say stipends.  It is what you make for each sport coached.

I think some in PA resented Coach Suggs for having 16 coaching increments.  It wasn't his fault, PAISD agreed with it.  Get what you can.

99 - 0 was the final score. OF scored with under a minute to go when the score was 93 - 0.  The fans for OF were chanting we want a hundred and they missed the extra point.  I was there.

Sorry this goes back to page 2, but I was coaching at Tarkington woe those many years ago and the contractors put purple at Tarkington and Maroon on Dayton.  I really don't know about Cleveland.
