Luckily I'm travelling and haven't seen too much of it...,but now that I'm in my hotel I'm sure I'll see it...lol People, especially older less tech savvy people hate change and they hate the bumps that go along with it...it's just part of it...I know I've gotten some great feedback that I've passed along...one really nice change should be made either tonight or tomorrow... There's no good time to roll out changes to the app like this...if we did it Week 1 people would complain...we picked Week 6 because this is the fewest amount of games in a week so any bumps and issues impact the fewest # of games and we have a week to make adjustments

A very nice post, however the coaching staff before Rich had zero discipline They may have lead the state in personal foul penalties with the majority of those being late hits Hopefully they are getting the discipline back to where it needs to be

For the better part of the last 30+ years, Nederland football has never been about having the most talented athletes on the field. It has been about having the right system, being fundamentally sound, being coached well, and playing for something bigger than yourself. The name on the front of the jersey has always meant more than the name on the back. Nederland has built its tradition on discipline, toughness, preparation, accountability, and eleven guys believing in the guy lined up next to them. You don’t have to have the biggest stars—you have to have a team that plays like a team. Talent can win you a game. Culture, preparation, and playing together can build a program. That’s Nederland football. Nederland lost its identity for a few years. I believe they have found that identity again.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t matter how long Rich has been here or how long he’s going to be here his success will only be determined by the talent he has at the time. His first year he was senior heavy team and it paid off. Last year was a down year but 3 of those games were winnable it just came down to coaching. Now this year and next year he has the talent to go 2-3 rounds in the playoff but that’s to be determined depending on coaching. I’m routing for them though.

I don’t think they will score that much even though it is possible, the coaches are to focused on clock management.
-
De Right, Shepherd has two stud DL, not just one. Also if you if ever driven through Shepherd, I'm pretty sure they are more similarly aligned with Coldspring and Tarkington other than a talented Senior group and most of those kids are playing both ways. No doubt it will be tough road for them to make the playoffs in their district, but they've outplayed several more talented teams over the past few years.
-
They fixed mine, they gave me a call. Apparently my card that I had on file didn't transfer to whatever new system they're using. It was a simple fix.

Defense is carried by 2 players. Keep in mind, they feel sorry for Tarkington and go out of their way to take it easy.

Discussion on the Tepp & Stepp thread. -
I believe that too honestly and after seeing them play. Yes they beat us, not a huge accomplishment or barometer on how you are as a team. Their offense is one dimensional, shut down the run and you shut them down. Defense is carried by one man, when he was off the field that was a completely different unit. They do have speed but they are small. Just my observation…

What Week 6 game(s) will you be attending?

Same for me for Lufkin at New Caney tonight. Not so much during game since I'll be in press box but just not wanting to to deal with it going to and from stadium.
