But you right on the easy pre-district in the past. This year i guess they wanted to be battle tested or whooped for a few weeks. Just hope we can enter district play healthy!

I’ve said it to my bro many times in the last few years… Morgan and Co lack a great playbook on offense. They are too vanilla. Last night..they could barely pull off what they are used to doing. They need to mix it up more. Not sure what the exact answer is, but it’s just too simple of an offense to create any issues for good coaches deep in the playoffs. Not much brainwork honestly…to stop it. It’s easy to dominate district play because of their size and speed. But, once deep in the playoffs…everyone is just about match up evenly. It comes down to coaching…play calling. I have high hopes in that they will make a deep playoff run. But, unless something changes on offense..it’ll be very difficult to win state. I hope they figure it out. Another year with a team that looks to be on the path to being great…need to capitalize on the talent.

If you really observe the game and watched the 1st 2 games, you have to admit how poorly Nederland is coached You have way too much arm tackling, you have 2 or 3 players on the kick off team and 2 or 3 in the secondary that avoid contact, the receivers on the kick return team run to much east and west, the OL doesn’t block very good, and the young QB has a ton of work to learn Let us be reminded that they have a bunch of starters returning and also be reminded that was a weak Silsbee team On The positive side, I think the RB’s could be good, the receivers are better, and the DL is playing well It actually looks like they are coached well After observing these 3 games and watching the play of the secondary, the missed tackles, and the OL, I see it as Crawford 42 Nederland 14

Honestly we are average to above average. We should’ve won that game last night but Stafford has some dudes. Their RB #5 is really good
