  2. Under the ‘Behavior Expectations for Student Athletes’ section: • Wish opponents good luck before the game and congratulate them in a courteous manner following the contest, no matter the outcome. [Hidden Content]
  3. I honestly don't expect any to be canceled.
  4. Is football practice going on even though PNG ISD has been closed since Tuesday for the storm & power outages? I would think there would have to be practice , of some type to be even somewhat prepared for game day.
  5. Due to the weather, are there any games being canceled on Friday or moved to Saturday?
  6. Whatever dude. Tell me something Trump has done that you do agree with. That says it all. Trump has done nothing illegal. Of course, when one judges by feelings instead of going by the laws, there will always be a conflict.
  7. Prayers for everyone in SETX.
  8. Of course I loved the Velasquez hit, but the Paredes double play with bases loaded in the 8th was what made the game winnable.
  9. Only one problem with your google search. Read “No Direct Ban”. Specifically: “…have trades executed through third party accounts or family trusts while in office”. Trump has consistently refused to place his holdings in such accounts or trusts. A definite corruption hazard. Now read “The Defense”. Trump does nothing listed as defense of a president owning defense contractors’ securities. Again, a massive corruption hazard. I see the other side. It’s wrong.
  10. For accuracy purposes, these are the point averages for Nederland the last 6 seasons: Points Scored Points Allowed 2025 26 30 2024 34 27 2023 25 30 2022 15 31 2021 32 18 2020 32 21 Over the last 6 seasons, Nederland has averaged scoring 27 points per game and averaged giving up 26 points per game. Your 35 point average is a bit off.
  11. Good pitching tonight, just need to start hitting. If they can put those two together they will be tough to beat. The big problem now is that they are struggling hitting with risp
  12. That should upset some of our fan base. Lol
  13. I certainly understand what your saying which is a good point, however when you average giving up that type of average for several seasons in a row, I question talent level, coaching, and team’s mentality. I would imagine you would have a lot of doubts about winning when you have been losing for several years with most games not even being close
  14. Wesneski went 7IP, gave up no runs on 1 hit, 5 K's, 2 BB. Very quality start. Hader now 22/22 in saves.
  15. Really needed that. Hader 22 Saves Blubaugh wins Arlington loses Mariners win
  16. Yep
  17. Today
  18. Houston with the shutout win, 2-0. Arlington lost so Astros up 2.
  19. Being that you’re a liberal, I can see why you take that stance. You are too far gone to expect you to see another side, but here it is…… ‘Google search: Under U.S. law, it is not illegal or a formal legal conflict of interest for a president to own stock in a defense contractor like Lockheed Martin, but ethics watchdogs argue it creates a severe appearance of a conflict. [1, 2] The Legal Reality Exemption from Statutes: The primary federal criminal conflict-of-interest statute (18 U.S.C. § 208) bars executive branch employees from participating personally in government matters that affect their financial interests. However, the president and vice president are explicitly exempt from this law. [1, 2] No Direct Ban: Presidents are not legally prohibited from holding individual stocks, managing portfolios, or having trades executed through third-party accounts or family trusts while in office. [1, 2] The Ethical Debate The Appearance of Profiteering: Critics and ethics experts point out that a president commands the military, shapes defense budgets, and makes public statements or policy decisions that can directly drive up the stock prices of major military contractors during a conflict. Holding millions in these specific companies while overseeing a war creates an inherent conflict between public duty and potential personal financial gain. [1, 2] The Defense: Administrations typically defend these holdings by asserting that the president's assets are handled by independent managers or trusts, meaning the leader has no direct input, control, or foreknowledge over individual daily stock buys and sales
  20. This series is tied 27-27-3. BH has won 4 of the last 6 after Crosby had won 7 straight.
  21. I only disputed your claim that a team that gives up 33 points in a game vs. a quality opponent makes them have no talent.
  22. We lost power this morning but just got it back at 7:30pm.
  23. Vidor with the upset! 35-31 Think defense will keep getting better and better as year goes on. Played well last week, and i think they do just enough to keep Broussard and all his weapons from getting into a consistent rhythm.
  24. I would put Ned back at safety. He gets dinged up too much at the RB position. He was a beast on defense as a sophomore. I really hope Nederland surprises us real soon but I’m just not sure.
  25. You do realize how foolish it is to continue blaming Biden. Why do you keep doing it? I can’t recall a President or his children who personally profited from weapons sales in any war. War profiteers have funded presidents, but I can’t think of another president who was a war profiteer. Blame that on Biden.
  26. General message to customers at 8pm Entergy: Ongoing weather activity continues to affect assessment work, but crews remain safely engaged in 24-hour coverage. 27. Guy is spending over 2 trillion dollars more than the government is taking in and he worried about paid holidays. Hey how bout you resume the DOGE Dept. and start slashing! But that would cut into the Uniparty’s slush fund! Amazing how that got shut down so quickly!
