There are a lot of factors involved in recruiting. There is a long list of players who did not get recruited or receive "full rides" for various reasons and especially in the current climate (Trinidad Chambliss for a recent example). What Trevor Jones brought to the field is not questionable. Never heard a single coach utter a single word otherwise.

Here’s a scenario: Bondi has botched the Epstein investigation so badly that Trump pins it all on her and fires her. Paxton gets promoted from Tx AG to US AG if he’ll step down. Wouldn’t surprise me. One of Paxton's problems is that he eats too many tacos. He eats his taco at home, and other people's tacos at the office and when he's on the road. I like tacos too, but I don't sneak around and eat tacos behind my wife's back.

You use the same talking points in every situation not realizing every situation is different. Woodville is not every other school. Yes, we have playmakers if the coaching staff utilizes them correctly. Do we have a State championship team? Maybe not. But there's probably not many teams outside of Newton in region 3 who could give us real problems
