There are Democrats and Democrat Lite. In other words the The Uniparty. We have a corrupt unserious government.

And you aren’t bothered by it. Here’s the thing, and I hope I’m not stepping on any toes. One of the posters here lost his wife last week. Person after person has offered their condolences. People from both sides of the arguments. People with whom this poster has had differences of opinion, tossed insults, etc… but everyone that has spoken kindly regarding his loss. What would your feeling have been if someone here had posted “good. He deserves to suffer?” My guess… no, it’s a fact that the person that stated such an atrocious thing would be uniformly blasted and rightfully banned instantly because of that person’s hateful speech. You would be aghast. I’m sure that you’re a decent person. What is it about Trump that makes those other decent men abandon their principles and decency? You’ve come here laugh about how Trump is celebrating the loss of an American who served faithfully in war, directly under four different presidents from both parties, and who led the FBI. Your profile pic shows the thin blue line… you support law enforcement, but here you are giving your approval for Trump celebrating the death of one of your brothers in blue. It makes no sense to me.

Thank you for the response. I’ve always been conservative… the Republican party has just moved away from me. It’s not about fiscal conservatism anymore… it’s just tax breaks with uncontrolled spending. They no longer espouse any fiscal restraint or thoughtful reflection whatsoever. The party that jumped all over Bill Clinton for his *gasp* immorality now worships a guy who makes Clinton seem saintly. Unfortunately, the left is no better. They continue to pick the most extreme among them to hold office, and they’re completely out of touch with reality. It’s why the new reoublican cry is to end open primaries in Texas. They want to make sure that independents and moderates aren’t allowed any say in which candidates are selected to run in the general election. They only want zealots. But you’re right about Fetteman… what the Rs offer today isn’t palatable to the general pop… it’s just not as offensive as what the Dems keep offering. it’s not a coincidence that Trump best Kamala and Hillary, but couldn’t beat Biden. Biden was electable, the other two weren’t.

Reliable source for what? That Saudi Arabia built this pipeline? -
Late reading this, but I’m sorry to hear about your loss. I can’t even imagine.

Trump said something stupid and crude. I’m shocked!!
-
I don’t know what that line is for me. I don’t really support him, per sé. I didn’t like him before, I absolutely can’t stand him now, and he’s doing a really good job of setting the Dems up for retaking power, which is terrifying. That said, the far left (which is somehow just becoming “the left” and driving party policy) is so indefensibly insane that I’d still take Trump over the alternative. I was fairly liberal in my early 20s. By the time I hit 30 I was what I considered a “radical moderate”, meaning I had strong beliefs that aligned with both sides. For the past decade I’ve considered myself a libertarian, but with no realistic traction in that party I vote right. The ONLY shot the right has of keeping control after the outrage Trump has continually sparked is the fact that the left has become absolutely goofy, meaning moderates and swing voters can’t just write off the right because of Trump’s behavior (and if we’re honest, shaky second term). If the Dems would get rid of all the kooks and took a hard look at Fetterman and modeled themselves after him they’d win EVERY branch in a landslide and might stay in power for the next 50 years.

Also true, wasn’t much but decline is decline. Guess that’s where the administration and community comes into play. Until that rift is fixed it will probably stay status quo.

God can use anyone. In Numbers 22:21-39 God used a donkey in to rebuke Balaam, who was acting against his will. The donkey saw an angel of the Lord blocking their path and, after being beaten for stopping, was given the ability by God to speak and defend herself, ultimately saving Balaam's life. If he can use a Donkey, he can use Donald Trump. Of course Trump does act like a Donkey sometimes. Maybe you should read your Bible. Matthew 7:3: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"

Astros may have another rough season. Just didn’t acquire any decent relief pitchers Good win tonight but Abreu was pretty bad!
-
Astros get their first win 11-9 on another nail-biter from Abreu. Great comeback from being down 6-3. Scored 8 in the 5th. Go Stros.

Yet, the enrollment in the school is declining. There are kids in the area right now that go to other schools because of the district, program, and facilities.

The Houthis in Yemen started firing missiles on Israel today… they’d basically stayed out of this fight until now. The us marine group arrived in the theatre today, too. Trump gave the Iraqis a 10 day extension of our one-sided cease-fire. My guess is that he’s getting all of our ducks in a row before sending in ground troops to seize Kharg Island and possibly to try and open the Strait of Hormuz. We don’t have enough bullet stoppers to pull that off. -
Plane banner over LA. Lmao
-
Yes you are not going to win many with only 5 hits and the last reliever in the game had a poor outing. Hopefully they will win series tomorrow
-
Absolutely true and I know a lot of people looking to get into the area, more and more each year.

Lamar Baseball 2026
myrecordwashorrible replied to myrecordwashorrible's topic in Lamar Sports Forum
Lamar falls in extras 5-3. Not enough offense on a low humidity night with a slight wind blowing out. LU only had 5 hits on the night. Olivier with another strong outing going 6 innings with 7 K's and giving up 2 earned runs. Rubber match at 1 tomorrow. -
Well, you don’t think those catholic Priest that abused those underage kids over the years had anything to do with that?
-
That's not what you received. LOL However, he has made history as the first convicted felon to become president, a title no previous President has achieved. He will keep this record for a long time.

You didn’t break a rule….the denial of your previous profile is what I was talking about. I’m pretty sure you knew that. -
Hopefully, that means no boots on the ground: What is your reliable source?

The right few neighborhoods, and the right type of kids moving in can completely change what the district looks like athletically. It also can change the enthusiasm and willingness to vote for bonds.

Honest question, hippy…. What rule did that break? Was it a personal attack? Vulgar? I don’t think anybody would argue that it wasn’t truthful. Or was it just “Saying something we don’t like?” A few months we were celebrating Charlie Kirk’s life of engaging in conversations with people who think differently than we do. This is kind of the opposite of that.
