And once the Big Beautiful Bill is fully in place, come the spring or early summer, the economy will be in massive overdrive. This is why I'm not worried about the midterms. -
I can say with 100% certitude that if she was killed by an illegal alien you would not hear a word about it from the left!

Now that we’ve gotten past our first gun, I’ll ask you and everyone else what’s their favorite gun. It’s hard, I know, because we like them all, but there is still a favorite. Mine is my S&W 327 TRR8 Performance Center. I’ll pass it in to my son when I leave…..and the rest.

In a move that has sent shockwaves through global financial markets, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta drastically revised its GDPNow tracker for the fourth quarter of 2025. On January 8, 2026, the estimate for real GDP growth was effectively doubled, jumping from a projected 2.7% to a staggering 5.4%. This revision marks one of the most significant upward adjustments in the model's history, suggesting that the American economy is not merely avoiding a recession but is currently in the midst of a high-octane expansion that few analysts saw coming. Are you sure you’re reading the chart you posted? Rate is 2.7% as of today. Been bouncing around this level consistently. Tariffs have basically had little effect. Somewhat surprising to many economists. -

Unfortunately, I believe it was bad design. The ball on the tube didn’t protrude enough to engage the slot on the magazine. It could simply slide under from the spring pressure. We think my brother’s tube shot out in the woods when he fired his gun and he never noticed, which is what it sounds like happened to you. Still an all-around good gun.
-
We had a Mec reloader that would load paper shells. Funny you mention the tube, I had to backtrack on several hunts because I would look and the tube had come out. It wouldn’t lock well in place. Would put tape on it to hold it, lol.
-
Got nothing against guns or gun owners. All about personal preferences. I have gone 62 years without owning a gun. My life has been good.
-
Was it in the day of paper shells? Lol. My brother’s tube magazine was lost somehow but I was able to replace it many years later from an online store in Canada. I couldn’t believe it.
-
First gun was also a used Stevens .410 with a tube magazine. Still got it.
-
In a quirky—but true—twist of fate, the street where protesters were interfering with Federal Law Enforcement and Mrs. Good was fatally shot in Minneapolis? Portland Ave.

In your original post, a buyback program fits all three intents, which to me, makes it illegal. I figured a gun “discussion” would attempt to highjack the buyback question.
