Transfers and high school sports
89Falcon replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Football
Fairly simple for the coaches who are “sick of it”: 1. Regulate it through their membership on the DEC. 2. Don’t sign off on transfers. **The reason they don’t follow these steps is because they have similar in their own programs. Every school in Texas receives players and loses players. -

I get out plenty and talk with many people in the coaching industry. I know exactly how wild the DFW area is with the transferring but my point is all these players were ruled eligible by all ruling committees. As for the complaining. My point was the vast majority of it comes from the team who loses to the team accused of cheating. Is it justified? To a point, yes. But knowing who some of you are on here that have posted or liked comments on this thread (including you) and what their school association is, my point has been proven. Like I stated before, policy needs improving. -

It's odd that you think complaints only come from the "losing team" - Do you live in a bubble world where you only exist on this site? Get out more. I've spoken numerous times about plenty of people all over the Dallas region who are sick of it and not all of them are on the "losing team" which I'm still not sure how that makes it any different. They also are not at all different than Faith and Family. It's the same thing to its core.

My buddy has a place on Cedar Crest Circle, if you know where that is.

A good start would be to remind people that government isn’t the solution. It’s the problem. Then, direct them to look at Libertarian candidates vs Democratic Socialists. A few more Rand Paul’s wouldn’t be a bad thing.

I think our defensive staff has been the problem the last 2 years and nothing has changed except the personnel is a year more experienced...slight improvement but nothing to write home about...as bad as the district is i see no issue with Nederland making the playoffs -

I think cutting out spring training with as many kids out for baseball as we have had did them favors too -
How do you change the hearts of men and women who have been hurt by both parties? People have resorted to what they did when they elected 45; they were seeking something or someone different. We have become a nation ran by truth social, late night tweets and day to day alternative truths.

Interesting. Is it punishment or just a feel good endeavor. Basically a coach gets full pay to not coach for a week. He gets to stay out of the heat and watch the game while another coach assistant coach takes over his duties. In fact he may watch the game from the press box. Suspend me please!!! 😎 -

I certainly think they will be better than last year if they learn to play defense which hasn’t happened in several years. With that being said, there is a very good chance that they will go 0-4 in non district with their schedule. A good buddy says that the coaching staff is weak -

They all don’t have to be suspended at one time. They easily could stagger the suspensions amongst all the coaches. For an example OC week 1 DC week 2 ST Week 3 all the way to position coaches on how many coaches they have overlap and be down 2 coaches 1 week. Plus mandatory UIL rules training and being placed on a 2 year suspension or something. Thats method won’t kill the program or anther teams program at all. -

How would you punish the other coaches? If you suspend them from football coaching duties, you have effectively killed the season for the players. Some kind of probation? -
Here’s the actual platform of the Democratic Socialists and Progressives who align with them. It can’t be denied, and it isn’t spin. [Hidden Content]

I guess the question would be if all the coaches are suspended wouldn't that hurt the kids and potentially other programs? -

I dont think there's ever been a ground swell at the 4A level to have it and certainly not below that -
I guess that explains Washington DC, NYC, Seattle, Chicago, and soon—Los Angeles & very possibly Governor of Wisconsin. Let’s not forget the Senate and Congressional candidates. [Hidden Content] Why is the Democratic Party allowing them to use their primary system & rules again? All I hear Schumer whimper out is ‘it’s a big tent party’ before he hangs his head and creeps out looking over his shoulder… There should not be any candidate on a ballot that espouses eliminating the Presidency, Senate, Electoral College, or any other act that expressly goes against the Constitution. Their initial act of having to take the Oath of Office should forbid it from even being possible. Even mayors take the Oath to uphold the Constitution. So, how can a Democratic Socialist even become a mayor, much less anything higher?

Calm down, Dawg. The “red scare” red herring has been tried many times and it just ain’t true. The big money will never relinquish its hold.

5A/6A have larger numbers of athletes that don’t play spring sports, therefore they have the participation to conduct functional practices. You get to have 18 practices if you do spring ball and the sacrifice is starting a week later in the fall. Really helps set your rosters before you break for the summer. Allows you to conduct meaningful football skills during the summer as well.
