OF only had 6 offensive possesions the whole game. They scored on 4 of them, turned it over on downs on two. Hardin had 6 offensive possession and scored on all 6. Not a single punt by either team.

Babin will do that against most teams in district if he wants to. It'll be tough trying to do that against Newton or some of the better teams in the playoffs though. Defense gone have to tighten up. Giving up 35 to Trinity can likely lead up to 60 against Newton. And I don't think we'll be able to match that 60

Trinity is a solid 3 in this district. They aren't to #2 spot already on the line first district game for these two.

lol not sure who thought that. WV could have scored 100. With that being said, their defense appears to be abysmal.

Babin had 8 touchdown passes. 4 in the first qtr. Woodville had ball 3x inside 10 and missed 2FG, then kneeled it. Could have scored 80 if they wanted too

Props to Hardin, they executed their game plan to perfection. For Orangefield to have one offensive possession in the 1st half is crazy.

If Buna doesn’t give EC two short fields on some ST plays they win this game. The young Buna defense held EC in check all game. It was one heck of a football game.

Gotcha. I thought you were confused about the inadvertent whistle. My bad.

Because, I don't think anyone on the planet thought Buna was going to play EC to a ONE score game. If they did, they must have the Sports Almanac from Back to the Future.

Why? Buna scored on a play, the referees brought it back because one official said he accidentally blew his whistle. It wasn’t heard by anyone. Not even the players evidently because not a single player stopped playing

This game was an “inadvertent whistle” that no one heard away from either being 22-21 Buna or 21-20 EC. It was quite ridiculous.

I missed it as well. I thought OF had enough weapons to keep Hardin on their toes all night. Great win for the Hornets. Do I understand correctly that Hardin travels to East Chambers next week for a battle?
