Colmesneil may be a sleeper for DC. Huge game for both teams coming in at 0-1 in district. You can't turn the ball over 3-4 times a game against most teams and be successful. If Deweyville takes care of the ball they should take care of business Friday Night.

Lufkin 28-24 holding on late for the win. Qualifier: They get their big DT back from injury. I still have them fighting with GCM for the 3 & 4 spots at the end of the year until BU shows they can continue their play from last week, and it wasn’t just a perfect storm. I think possible weather actually helps Lufkin more than New Caney. Plus, it’s pretty much an elimination game for the Panthers. I think they’ll come out focused and ready to play. Should be a good game between two pretty equal clubs. Look forward to watching on TL.

If they are lucky they may end up with one more win this season. It’s better than last season but can you really compare with the preseason of last year. I think district play will tell the real story of if the “exceptional” coaching is truly that.

I do think this is our best chance to win but I don’t see it happening. Horns tend to give a lot of opportunities and we don’t capitalize on the ones we’re given. If our D plays like they did against Liberty it will be a long night but will come down to which offense can execute.

For my package which includes sports package and HBO/Showtime it's $110 a month. I think basic is around $70 a month. One of the best changes we made. So much cheaper with just as many channels as cable. You just have to have an internet provider and smart TV. We pay $40 a month for high speed internet from Spectrum. So $150 a month for TV and internet.

Huffman gives away a couple of possessions per game on special teams and their defense can't stop running water. If they could get even semi - competent coaching they could keep the game from being a total laugher. Their offense can score points in bunches at times but it won't matter. I'd expect LCM to win 42-21 or so. Peavey has always schemed good against Huffman. Huffman's QB's legs hurt LCM when he would tuck it and run the last 2 years and with him gone now Peavey won't have to worry about that and it should make them much easier to defend. LCM will have to defend the deep ball but if they stack the box against Bacon they will hold them to 28 or so. LCM will have that many by halftime.

Definitely not. It will be a lot closer than that. So even though my heart wants Coldspring to win give me the Longhorns by 8 28-20.

Did some work for a doctor who owned a small peninsula directly across the lake from Many Louisiana. I believe you could see Pendleton bridge when you got out into the main part of the lake. Seems like it was called Shamrock Shores. It’s been years so I could be wrong. Went through Hemphill to get there. Ain’t it funny how most of the time when you’re bank fishing, you cast out as far as you can, and when you’re in a boat, you cast towards the bank?
