  4. Today
  5. Any Hemphill vs Hull Daisetta updates?
  6. Controlled portion of scrimmage Newton had 4TDs BC had 2TDs Newton has a very skilled WR who can make plays, solid back up RBs who ran hard even with the starter resting the whole scrimmage. Solid team. BC defense looks decent when Breeden returns it’ll help a ton, secondary has some work to do, BC offense has yet to establish the run game through two scrimmages.
  7. Nederland is going to be heavily dependent on the run game again this year the passing game while an improvement from last year is still not good I think defense will be the biggest improvement I like what I've seen so far...the real season starts next Thursday
  8. Nederland - Barbe multiple scuffles/fights/penalties in controlled portion Both Defenses were physical and controlled the offenses in the control portion. 7-7 in 1 live qrt
  9. Why do you reckon this is? [Hidden Content]
  10. Good to hear! The Horns looked good last week. Will be a much different team, may catch some teams off guard. Coach Howard has these boys ready!
  11. I was told; Silsbee 7 TDs Lumberton 0TDs That's all I've heard so far.
  12. This is what I was told by a reporter at Lumberton/Silsbee scrimmage: Had a short controlled session. Lumberton did not score. Silsbee scored 3 TD's Live 2 quarters: Lumberton only score was a 48 yard FG Silsbee scored 4 TD's. All 7 of Silsbee's TD's were via the pass. Was told Breeden looked very good. Wide receiver Williams was the main target and had 4 TD's.
  13. Newton/Bridge City scrimmage: Newton 4 TD's BC 1 TD
  14. In the controlled portion of the scrimmage Hardin -3 Deweyville -1 In the live quarter Hardin 2 Deweyville 0 Overall Deweyville didn't have the size and speed to match Hardin. It was the same as last week for the Pirates defense is well ahead of the offense. Deweyville is young and growing pains are part of achieving success.
  15. Eight runs over this game and the previous 3 not counting what they may do in a meaningless 9th inning. Not a good time for the offense to fizzle. Early in the game the booth was discussing Lambert's workload and then he struggled, if he has hit a wall it's going to get tough to hang on to the West and a series loss to the Angels at home is not helpful. It's baseball though and who knows what will happen at the end.
  16. Idk about this one but its a rivalry game anything goes on but im going to go with PAM PAM 35 PNG 28
  17. Mine wouldn’t have been. 😎
  18. I agree to a point but at one time, there was a salvage point and we didn't make a move. So that's baseball I guess, Arlington wins 2-0. Nite Nite all. Getting old ya know
  19. The Refs caused us to “lose” the scrimmage!! 🤣🤣🤣
  20. Sometimes teams get into hitting streaks and there’s nothing you can do to stop the bleeding. Might even pitch position players.
  21. You are not likely winning this game. No point in using up arms. After it got to 14-2, I would have had no problem leaving King in for another inning. Game was over at that point.
  22. Happens to the best of them he will be fine
  23. Bellville vs El Campo Controlled part El Campo 1 TD Bellville 0 TD Played a live half with a constant running clock which ended 7-7. Bellville will have some growing pains this year but hopefully will have it out together come district/playoffs. Baptism by fire begins with a trip to Waco Robinson next week. El Campo up front on both sides of the ball impressed me. Lots of size on the O line. They will contend for a district championship with Bay City IMO
  24. But But why leave them in soooo long. I don't mind losing but not like that. Isn't that is what the bullpen is for? Just saying 16-2
