Here’s the problem. When the pentagon announces “we’ve spent 40 billion on this war…. Errrrr, excursion,” they’re talking about what it costs to manufacture those weapons, however long ago they were manufactured. Out cost in today’s dollars will be much, much higher than their production cost decades ago. They’re also not tallying any other cost… lost aircraft, mobilization cost, hazard pay, damage to our facilities, wear and tear, etc, etc… plus the economic cost you and I are paying every single time we pull out our wallets and pay extra. Trump’s new argument is “if you don’t agree with my spending, you must want Iran to have nukes.” If you have any doubts that Trump and company lie nonstop about the cost of everything, look no further than his 200 billion dollar ballroom. I mean, his 350 million dollar ballroom. Pardon me, his $400 million dollar ballroom, but the costs don’t matter because it’s all being privately funded. Except he needs a billion taxpayer dollars to build his ballroom. Or the 1.6 million dollar deal he got to paint the reflecting pool. Those guys have already billed 13.1 million, and they aren’t finished yet. That’s what happens when you elect someone with proven bad character and put them in charge of spending. We all get stuck holding bag.

The dems are always going to vote dem. But I always find it fascinating when the "concerned moderates" and "Never Trumpers" that "allegedly" have traditionally voted R, happily pull the lever for D. The Biden presidency was a complete disaster and a stain on our nation's history. Kamala said she'd "change nothing" about it so a vote for Kamala was effectively just an extension of the Biden embarrassment. The only explanation I can come up with for a traditional R to vote D, is that their brain has been broken by TDS and their soul corrupted with hate for the guy. I'm not getting everything I voted for (and none of us ever will), but I'm getting a lot of it. And it's infinitely better than if Kamala was in charge.

Trump loves him some Trump. Father Time will eventually take are of his narcissism. He’s usually instinctual when it comes to making decisions but I think he went against his instincts on the Iran situation imo. Now he can’t find an exit ramp. I’ve worn weary of his antics. I'll agree to disagree with you on that one. 50% of the country hates him and another 25% doesn't like him. He hasn't changed his behavior in any meaningful way to address that. If we get killed on the midterms he'll just blame the voters or cheating or whatever else.

I do it to show hypocrisy, and to piss people off. lol. People cry, cry, cry about Trump and said nothing about Biden or Obama, and they were two of the worst.

oh, it's about him. he had some success and gained some good pub taking out Maduro and figured he could do this and it would be easy and he'd turn the tide for himself... now look where we are. But make no mistake, Trump is all about Trump. If he was selfless he wouldn't be offering funding to politicians willing to rename things after him, and he wouldn't be pushing for a gold coin with his face on it to come out of the treasury.

It's his salvation that's at stake. He can gain the whole world and loose his soul. I'd rather have JESUS than silver and gold.
