Trump repeatedly promised that private donors would fully pay for his White House ballroom project. The estimated construction grew from $200 million to nearly $400 million. Why tear down a historic building that wasn't broken for supposedly security reasons and then have a UFC fight on the front lawn? 2.5 million to 3 million Epstein documents remain unreleased. The Donald was in the files. The Attorney General failed to fully comply with the Transparency Act and effectively conceded to violating the law. Trump controlling the house and senate is known as a governing trifecta. Fall of 2025, Johnson kept the house away for weeks during prolonged gov. funding fights and partial shutdowns. June 2026, MAGA Mike sent the House home early ahead of July 4th holiday after hard-line conservatives blocked procedural votes and defense spending. Feb.28,2026, Epstein War without seeking prior authorization or a formal declaration of war from the MAGA Congress. Trump bypassed the traditional oversight mechanisms outlined in the War Powers Resolution.

Only 14 Lol and the government is still withholding 3 million files year after a law was passed to release them. Uh ok Trump was threatening, screaming and crying about having to sign the Epstein Files Transparency Act but if he hadn’t signed it would have made him look pretty bad.

I’d be happy if Bridge City can spell “Bobcats” on the scoreboard correctly this year. -

LOL - if he controlled the house and the senate everything he wanted passed would be passed and in to law,.....that has not happened. He has lost in the Supreme court - so he does not control that He does control the white house like every other President in history There was 14 names released on the Epstein files - not one congressman or Donald Trump.

The answer is simple. A culture change and good coaches. Neumann did it and he had several good assistants like pate and Spell. It is obvious that the dogs do not have a whole lot of talent, but you can overcome that through hard work and having football since. Those things can be taught. When you have a ton of penalties and are known around the area as playing dirty you want win many games. Also, you have to teach how to have success after several losing seasons. PNG doesn’t seem to have a problem with that. Why, because they hired a coach that believes in defense 1st and he has very good assistant coaches. Unfortunately Nederland does not!

House, Senate. White House, Supreme Court and the Epstein files. The speech spoke truth and like the article said MAGA will continue to defend. Not surprised but expected. The article provided timelines of trumps corruption.

Bigdog, some people just enjoy being miserable...I say, "let'em, just not around me"...spider falls in this category...obviously we should take his commentary for what it's worth on a serious note, I wonder what spider thinks the solution is? He is full of questions and problems, but no answers

That article was a speech. Please explain what 4 he controls? Trump controls the Executive branch. Under the executive branch are 15 departments.....and just like every President before Trump, he is in charge of all 15. Included are Treasury, Defense and Department of Justice. What 4 should no one man be charge of?
-
Hemphill should win this one and several more with this non-district schedule. Pile up those wins now. That district is mighty tough. Next week is The Pine Cone Bowl which will be the Hornets first real test .

AHUDDLESTON replied to pakronos's topic in High School Football
Don't forget that when you play in other states, you play by their rules. Texas uses NCAA rules while Florida uses NFHS rules. That being said, STA looked to be the far superior team all game. -
Man that sounds familiar. Times have changed here in Mustang land. For better or worse it took a while to get it together. Im so happy they figured out some things. Honestly I do have reservations for December. Better get back there though

Regardless where the fault or faults lay, the buck will ultimately stop with the head coach, just the same like all coaches before. That's nothing personal against this coach, its just the way the system works. Apparently the coach looked like a great hire, and clubs or not, this team and program is not devoid of talent. In light of that, some reasonable expectations exist for this years team. Again, I hope it gets on track. There is still time for that.
