Very possible! It’s hard to tell with their weak pre-district opponents. Lots of returners and put up one heck of a fight against Palestine Westwood last year in Bi-District. But Westwood was missing their head coach who was out on suspension.

Last year there strategy against Orangefield they ran 3 plays outside the ends and everything else was up the middle. Thats all I am saying is they are running to the outside more this year. For longer gains not just trying to get 3 yards at a time to control the clock. But it’s ok I’m obviously not going change your mind. And I’m not changing yours I’m guessing only time will tell. And I’m really not in any position to say I’m right I’ve never even played football but I did stay at a holiday in that had espn.

Yes, that is why Hardin is dominating their opponents at a much higher clip than last year. Not "trying for short gains". Now they are "trying for long gains". LOL

Last year they did. This year though, it just may be that they are playing teams like Warren, they don’t seem to be trying the short gains like they have in the past. This is just from the little bit I’ve watched of their games this year.

Last year they also lost their best player in the Orangefield game. And he was out for a game or two after that and they still came in third last year. I don’t agree that last year has nothing to do with this year. If there are remnants from last years teams there’s experience and skill returning.
