  2. Massey projections has this one 49-7 PN-G
  3. First time in a very long time that a coverage area 4A team is not in the 4A preseason rankings. I thought Hardin-Jefferson was worthy of top 25.
  4. Looks like other than Port Arthur Memorial and a few of their district opponents I'll be watching some 3A basketball this upcoming season.
  5. 😂 this will be bad, very bad for Lee.
  6. Give me HF 42-17 The rain definitely leans into Shepherds game but don't think they have enough to hold HF off.
  7. Let’s hear it. I’m guessing PNG starts rotating starters out by mid-second quarter.

  14. HJ certainly doesn’t lack talent. It’s hard to believe they aren’t doing better this year with the talent they have across the board. Poor execution and coaching remain major concerns.
  15. News flash….no one wants to tax billionaires….. There is a reason California and New York have had large net domestic out-migration in recent years (California the largest net loss, New York second in 2024), with Texas and Florida among the top Sun Belt destinations for those movers.
  16. I was at that game, him and #5 were great that day. Still thought HJ had enough to win that one.
  17. HJ last made the playoffs in 2020. They haven't won a playoff game since 2016. Those years you're referencing were fun teams to watch for HJ fans. Dubois had the slot t rolling and the defense was pretty good. One of those playoff runs ended with JK Dobbins running all over them back when he played for La Grange.
  18. What jersey number is the IMG transfer wearing for King??

  21. Not sure who all will be playing for Woodville this week. A lot of it will probably depend on who's at QB, what type of gameplan the coaching staff comes up with and how well the players execute it. Probably won't be able to pass it as effectively as NW did but we should be able to do it well enough to open the run game up. Pace will be important too. I'd like to see us play at a faster pace with the no huddle. Probably gonna have to find a way to score consistantly either way cause although our defense has been decent, Hardin will probably be tougher to defend than anyone else we've played so far. Especially since I didn't see a couple guys from our defense last game. Hopefully they will be back this week
  22. Good point. Democrats will have a Senate majority. Trump will veto bills the country wants (tax billionaires, increase minimum wage, challenge war powers, anti corruption, etc.) The Senate will attempt to override and all opposed will be on the record for 2028. Trump put Chinese handcuffs on himself and the whole party.

  24. Hardin Jefferson had some really good teams around 2012 or 2013 that went 3 rounds deep in the playoffs as a 3rd or 4th place district team. When was the last time they made the playoffs?
  25. Noted. 9) Keep to the subject. Post to the section that is most appropriate for the topic being presented. Should be noted as well. Posting personal opinions related to high school kids and their level of participation for the season does not keep to the subject of the PN-G vs Nederland football game as the thread title suggests. It is inflammatory and directed at a specific kid or kids.
  26. I am not even a Nederland fan. I think you calling out high school kids being on the sidelines as wasted spots is a little bit of a bad move when you consider that there is no roster spot limit in high school. Sounds like you have the personal agenda.
