Here are the facts:

HBU did have questions and concerns and were awaiting a contract. They opted to go in another direction.

Jim Hicks tried to salvage the game by attempting to get Alief Elsik to host. He was expecting an answer by 3p this afternoon. Prior to getting the answer he was seeking, Coach Wise contacted Jim and said he is passing on the opportunity to play.

Read into it what you wish, it didn't work out...

Thanks Jim for clarifying this mess for us. Much appreciated.

Hopefully Coach Joubert can find an opponent to play in a warm up game.

Nope. Looks like EC has already got that 3rd game they wanted. Waiting on the results of Tuesday night.  ;)

I would much rather have the Kountze/Yates game on Saturday.

They are working on getting an opponent.

If somehow HJ and WO-S do not end up tied for 2nd, I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of Kountze and HJ.

Noboby at this point but 4A/5A don't have any first-round byes in the playoffs so Central's first playoff game will be next Monday or Tuesday so I'm not sure if they will play a warmup game.
