If Newton would have made their free-throws and lay-ups, it would have been alot closer......Kountze was very agressive and at times seemed to play a little out of control, but they are a very good team....Good luck to both....

Not that familiar with other teams in Kountze's district.  Will they be challenged in district play?

Other than Newton, no. That's why I said it was good that this was a somewhat competitive game for them.

We'll need a strong warm-up game before the playoffs!

Saw Kountze play in Tenaha and was very impressed.  If they win their district, which it sounds like they will, their first playoff match up will be either White Oak or Tatum.  They will need a strong warm up game as you say.
I hope to see that area round game and given the location of those schools, I am thinking the Lufkin/Nac area.  Nac ISD gym would be my guess.

I hope it's Tatum...we had players hurt and sick last time we played them...but it will prolly be Lufkin

Kountze = Bees on Honey, lol.....Super Quick and swarmed the ball at all times.......Newton will play them a better game next round, just let them get some gym time..... ;)
