Looks to me liike BH finishes 4th.
That would be the smart bet
Who would be the likely 1st round match-up?  LCM?

Won't Ned go D-1?

Didnt denny play the whole game against crosby. Bh managed 17pts against a terrible crosby defense. Denny would have no were to run just like the backup.
Ok your right Denny sucks they should just sit him his Senior year what a waste of space ;) Talk to Octfeb you two can argue about how much Dayton is going to win the state championship by ...... should be a good battle of the wits between you two :o

If BH finishes 4th they will probably match-up with Livingston in the first round. Could be a very interesting game. It won't last long because both teams will run it 50 times.
If Crosby and Dayton show up it's a 19-4A sweep.

#3 BH                    3049          381
#4 Dayton              2983          331  the only one with 9 games

Based on a Nederland, Vidor, Livingston, LCM finish.... I really don't think either district will sweep the other. Nedeland and Dayton will be a great match-up in D1, that game is a toss up in my opinion. Vidor will have a tough time with SC and their air attack, but Vidor is big, strong and physical and SC will have a tough time stopping the Pirates running game. If you haven't seen the slot-T then preparing for it is a nighmare. I think both D2 match-ups will be close games regardless of who they are. LCM and Livingston match up well with BH and Crosby.
I know y'all kill me for being a stat geek but if you're a Dayton fan this should bother you. Dayton is going to finish with the least effective offense of all the playoff teams, and if you dive deeper into the numbers this is what you see on the defense. 5 of 9 wins Dayton has this year they have given up more than they have gained (KP tied at 341). They have issues stopping the run, already have given up over 1000 yards on the ground in district play. I understand Dayton fans saying they play bend and don't break defense but you can only bend so many time before you "take a set". Going to be very interesting to see the Dayton plan for SC. I heard one poster say BH will be the best offense SC has played but I beg to differ. You see what Crosby has done above, we nearly put 500 yards on SC and still lost by 28. What do you think they're going to do to a team that lines up and tries to run it straight up the middle?

Nobody knocking Coog Offense,Defense(20.8 ppg) continues to give up big plays.Dayton is 9-0 keep thinking,we play to win & not run up scores or stats.Tell me how stats win games.I'll take 66 points allowed in 9 games-defense wins championships.Went 3 rds w/young OL/DL last year,Yes we're trying to fill a Qb spot of Herrera who led our team 3-4 rds deep & threw for 5,000 yds in 2 1/2 seasons.Hard to do w/Chambers  having ankle issues he's had since his soph/jr wr years.

Run up scores who is talking about that.  SC and Dayton's score are almost the same in most games.  My point is does the SC #1 O and #4 D beat the BH #3 O and #3 D and the Dayton #4 O and #2 D.
We gave up big plays in two games as you can see from D&C defensive stat post. Crosby's defense is statistically the best in the district and that's with SC already on the schedule. Numbers are going to look even better with Humble and Porter coming up. I know y'all don't care about giving up all those yards to Crosby, King or Kingwood Park but if you give SC, Vidor, or Ned all those yards the outcome will most likely not be in y'alls favor. The stats will eventually catch up with you.

I love stats, keep them every year. Some years they are great, some not so great. I remember comparing our stats to Lake Travis back in 2007, based on those stats I felt like we were state bound. Not the way it worked out, the key is match-ups, 22 young men on the field at a time and how well they do their job each and every play. Stats don't allow for the intangibles, the will to win. In the end, which ever round that is, that will determine who's best.

You can pull up all the stats you want to, but the only stat that matters is W'S & L'S.
Spin it anyway you want to.

"Number 1 rush/pass defense". Congrats, but you still got smoked.
"Number 1 rushing offense". Good for yall, but guess what, just another L.

I'm sure those patches will look great on the letter jackets.

Last time I checked, they dont give out trophies for statistical champions.
