Chargois was asked by more than one person is my understanding....who is unclear....Have heard from 3 different people with 3 different stories. All made sense. ( Could be a mixture of all 3 stories?)

Dr. Chargois earned both his bachelors degree and doctorate degree from Lamar so I can understand him being on the committee.  I'm not sure how dedicated Dr. Thomas would be to Lamar.  I think he's more interested in the money and the power than what's best for Lamar.

We do not need this to be a political football!!!  We don't need poeple with personal agenda's.  We had that in the 80's and 90's and it almost crippled the University.  Without Dr. Simmons Lamar would be ilrelevant instead of being vibrant and growing.  If this goes the way every damn thing in this town goes, then it will be screwed up beyond any logical understanding.  FUBAR comes to mind!!!!

Very unfair to you to judge what is in Dr Thomas heart after the local media lynched him., Again, remember the liberal media had polls believing Bush was the worlds greatest danger. The media has become irresponsible and dangerous. Look at the Obama vs Romney polls.
