Eagle0011 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 GCM with wins over #2 BH, #4 Santa Fe, and #5 Kingwood Park and being undefeated in district and BH with wins over Klein Collins, PNG(twice), Clear Springs, HCA , Spring and a 8-1 district record , show why they are ranked 1 and 2. Over all 19-4A is not that strong, but does have two of the top teams in the area 4A in it. GCM has won 5 of the last 6 meetings, hope BH can even the series 1-1 this year on Monday. The poll guy may not have crossed the Trinity River, but BH did cross it to beat #1 ranked PNG on this web site for the second time this year. [/quote]Even I would venture to say that BH played a much tougher non-district schedule (including tournaments) than PNG.
