Different schedules for East Chambers ?????

With the split between Division I and Division II in 2A football, it is not uncommon for 2A basketball districts to vary from the football districts.

Now why does East Chambers have a screwed up basketball district like they do?  Only selected members of the UIL selection committee know that.

EC goes to the playoffs each year, every year, for the last 20 or so. The district is irrelevant, as for as making playoffs is concerned. Actually, Region 4 is the easiest to get to Austin out of, IMO.

The Bucs made it to the State Championship in Austin in '95, and has made it to the Tyler regionals numerous times, along with making the playoffs for something like 20 years straight or so, and are the 2011 2A District Champions, beating out Kountze and Anahuac last year.

Thats a fact.  Some of them work with me and tell stories of how he went to Jr. High Schools and had try outs.....  We will just stick to winning with the kids who are supposed to go to school at E.C.

Exposing Lie #2: No one from Ozen, has EVER had to recruit ANY kid to come to Ozen.  Boutte and I would attend our feeder pattern games for two reasons...1) so the kids would know who we were, which was what we were SUPPOSED to do, and 2) his sons and my nephews PLAYED for those jr. high schools, which was also what we were SUPPOSED to do...

[/quote]Yes I have heard of Donte Raymond.  He wasn't recruited to EC.  Isn't the idea of recruiting players to your school to bring in all state type tallent?  examples:  Yates with Coach Wise and Ozen with Boutte....  I never said anything about attending feeder games.  I don't know anything about that.  I do know for a FACT that some of my co-workers played B-Ball in Beaumont and were supposed to go to West Brook.  Boutte had a try out and selected several of those guys to go to Ozen.  My co-workers were picked and did go to Ozen.  That is a fact.  I just felt like throwing a jab at you since you like to talk smack on this site and decided to talk about EC.  We run a clean program over here at EC.  We do not have to deal with kicking kids off of the team for drug abuse, wiping pepper spray out of their eyes for fighting, or worry about them slinging crap all over the oppents locker room after a victory.  Go back to hating on that midcounty school that you seem very jealous of and leave little ole EC alone.  We are doing just fine.  That is all.

EC goes to the playoffs each year, every year, for the last 20 or so. The district is irrelevant, as for as making playoffs is concerned. Actually, Region 4 is the easiest to get to Austin out of, IMO.
