Field Damage

Whose baseball field was damaged due to Hurricane Rita? I know that Silsbee lost their home dugout and the outfield fence.

Jasper had some pretty bad damage, but im pretty sure the field will be back to its normal self by the time baseball seasin starts

Bridge City lost their outfield fence, visitor's dugout, and pressbox. Lights are iffy as well.

Nederlands field got alot of damage we lost our press box ,stands and storage, outfield fence and backstop

our school district is great all is ordered the work has begun and to boot our districts phone and internet service company helped purchase a state of the art beautiful new scoreboard .it's good to be a Bulldog where the people here care about the kids and taking care of our district. thanks N.I.S.D. administators for all you do !!

I was at PN-G this weekend, looks horrible. Not only is the fence, backstop and dugouts damaged but also the playing surface. Coach Stone said about 5 inches of dirt was blown away. Later this week a group will be in town to resurvace it.

Deweyville lost the top of the dugouts and the pressbox. The equipment room top got blown off and alot of stuff got damaged. Not sure to what extent though. We will be up and ready I hope.

The Fundraiser Wednesday at Ford Park will be used to help repair High School fields in the area..
