PNG in Playoffs

PNG is in the playoffs for the first time since 1989, and will probably bow out first round, BUT if you look at how many games they were competative, the first round may be a surprise. Losses WOS by 2, HCYA by 2, WOS by 4, Jasper by 4, Ned by 6, Ozen by 2, Central by 2, Ned by 2. Losses that were more then 10 points were to Silsbee, WB, NO Walker, Ozen, Sterling, Vidor, Ozen, LCM. PNG was close to being 22-8 this year instead of going in with a losing record.

It will depend on what PNG team shows up. Hoping for a first round upset of Crosby!!!!! Anybody know anything about them? It looks like they have beat alot of good 5A teams this year.

I don't think that Crosby is a lock for the 1st spot.  Crosby have 4 losses.  the next 3 playoff teams in 19-4a have 4 losses.  How does Crosby look in the head to head matchups? 

Now in our district, I believe the seedings have been established.

1. Nederland
2. Ozen
3. Central
4. PN-G

It's nice to have both mid-county teams representing the district for (probably) the 1st time ever! I'm black and gold through and through, but I've always cheered for PN-G during playoff time (usually in football or baseball of course).

It could end in a 4 way tie, but I don't see Crosby losing to Barbers Hill in tonight's game.
