From the article: An Oregon high school transgender runner caused outrage on social media on Wednesday after competing in several events at the Portland Interscholastic League Championship semifinals against girls. Aayden Gallagher, of McDaniel High School, finished in first place in the 400-meter preliminary event with a 56.14 time – 0.23 seconds better than the second-place finisher. Gallagher finished second in the 200-meter preliminary event with a time of 24.49 – about 0.17 slower than the first-place finisher. -

I don’t understand what you mean by “says it all”? And rusk is not half way across the state and not uprooting your family. So dramatic. Maybe QB1 realized he did like it better in Anahuac and liked the people more. Which is a good thing. There never was an “if” moving to 4a. It just didn’t work out at that particular school -

I was perusing through some old newspapers when I came across an article in the Abilene Reporter newspaper from December 1942. The topic of the article centered on the decline in attendance of high school football games in Texas. The article explained that the attendance figures had steadily increased from 1920 to a record high in 1940. Then a sharp decline occurred in 1941 and 1942. The writer then surmised that the Texas Interscholastic League director must be blamed, since this decline happened on his watch. Just kidding, everyone knows the decline in attendance was due to World War II. Anyone that would dare blame the director could honestly be called a big ol' fat liar!
