Congrats Angel.  He comes works out with us at Kelly 5 days a week,  Along with Jacob Cameron of Vidor who I believe is signing with Campbell U, a div one program in North Carolina.  Been a hot summer so far and they are working out with some guys from Kelly.  Great two young men.  Good Luck

Congratulations to all the girls involved and what an accomplishment.  Good luck ladies.

Andrew Cupero was named Best Male Athlete of the year for TAPPS Div I size schools, which is the biggest schools in TAPPS.  This covers all of Texas TAPPS schools and sports.  He has lettered in soccer for four years, baseball for 3 years and football for 3 years.  Maintained a 4.0 on a 4.0 grade scale.  And will be attending Notre Dame where he has a walk on soccer opportunity.  This is the first player from Kelly selected since 1998.  Congratulations to Andrew, and Kelly high school.

Andrew Cupero was chosen by the SETXCA as the SETX ' Boys' Soccer Player of the Year!  He will be given his award on Lamar University's football field during halftime of the SETX All Star Football game.  The game will be played in Beaumont, Texas at Provost & Umphrey Stadium at Lamar University at 7:00 p.m. on June 15th, 2013.  I recieved that for him this morning and have passed it on.  Andrew has played varsity at Kelly for 4 years and been a captain for 2 years.  He was District MVP his sophmore and senior year.  He has been all district 3 of 4 years and honorable mention his first year.  He is Academic All State as well as All State this year.  He has been selected to Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold team sophmore and senior year. Congratulations to him.     I

With that said.  I know the logistics of doing it rite is probably close to being impossible.  Its good that several get some recognition.

I saw the all district,  I was just saying that possibly some should have made it. Not trying to take away from any of the girls that got their spot.  I am just saying, that surely one off the girls and maybe another guy should have been looked at.

Congratulations to everyone listed on the girls Super Gold Team.  However I think its a huge snub to leave out the Kelly Girls Soccer Program. They won a local tournament at Port Neches this past season and performed great all year.  They beat a St Agnes team that most Houston teams dont beat. Kelly played consistent  and had great team this year.  Several girls should have been given a look but nobody contacted us about players on boys or girls.  Just saying.... Several girls and probably a boy or two more should have been given a look. 

Actually they are playing John Paul II of Plano on Thursday Night at Kelly High School at most likely 6pm.

Kelly won 1-0.  Wrapped up their 5th straight district title. 

The club teams that played each other during the season.  The PnG kids that were playing amongst them seemed to be deeper than other club teams. Unless  when I was told by others the school the club players  attended were not accurate.  I think Nederland could be really good.  And again the PnG players I know of sound or seem to be really good.  Cant wait to see how the first round of district plays out. Problem is nobody will post scores.  Good luck ..

Played Nederland... I was impressed, in that their scorelines are not showing how good they are and they COULD be.  Several really good players.  Defense will be their biggest question mark.  They took it to us and kept the pressure on.  Saw Vidor play and they are  hard working and were missing a couple of players when I saw them.  PnG should have the most talent across the board but have not seen them.  LcM seems to be doing some good things but no clue .  Good Luck in the district race....

We moved games and game times for games.   Kelly Vs  Aleif    3pm at stadium   Vidor Vs  Aleif B  345 on auxillary field 58 by 115 yards   Nederland Vs Aleif  6pm  at Stadium JV GAME BETWEEN KELLY AND VIDOR HAD TO BE CANCELLED SO VIDOR VARSITY AND ALEIF B COULD HAVE A FIELD TO PLAY ON BEFORE DARK.  THERE IS STANDS FOR FANS ON AUXILLARY FIELD.  NO CLOCK OR SCOREBOARD

Elsik A team is playing at 3 and 7.  Their B team is playing at 5.

Kelly Mens soccer team will host San Antonio O Connor January 11th and 12th.  January 11th at 4pm Kelly will play OConnor and at 7 O Connor will play Tomball Concordia.  On Saturday O Connor will play #1 St Louis High School from Lake Charles.  San Antonio O Connor is coached by Nederland ex player and Nederland ex coach Rob Bledsoe.  Again alot of quality soccer if anyone would like to spend a day watching some quality games.  Adults 3 dollars and students 1.  Come out and support.  GO DAWGS..

Kelly is adding another assistant coach starting January 1st.  Lance Watson a Nederland graduate,  University of New Mexico all american, and ex MLS Kansas City Wizard will beging helping when practices begin.  Lance has won a National Championship with the Texans Soccer Club,  played with Nederland High School in their only State Finals game and led University of New Mexico to the National Championship game losing in the finals. His connections with Div One soccer programs as well as DIV 2 DIV 3 AND other levels will be a huge help for the Kelly players interested in furthering their soccer careers.  GO DAWGS

Kelly Mens Soccer team will play host to the Number one 5A school in Texas.  Alief Elsik is ranked 1 in texas and 4 in the Nation.  They will play at 3pm at Kelly Stadium on January 3rd.  Vidor will play Alief  squad at 5pm and Nederland will play at 7pm.  Concessions available and tickets will be 3 adult and 1 dollar students. Diocese students free.  They are a class program with loads of talent.  Thanks to Vidors coach and Nederlands for playing so I could get  Alief Elsik 3 games.  Vidor and Kelly JV will play on the auxillary field at 3pm.  Come enjoy some gerat soccer.........  hopefully by both teams. 

The Kelly Girls beat St Agnes today to win San Antonio girls soccer tournament.  Game ended 1-0 on a goal by Jillian.  The defense played great and everyone on the team did their part to defeat St Agnes for the first time that anyone knows of.  GO LADY DAWGS......... congratulations..

I also would like to congratulate the Bulldogs on their big win. And to the Barrow connection.  How cool is it to celebrate that with his own son.  GO DOGS
