In response to wb1989.  The tuition at Kelly is a sliding scale meaning that not everyone pays the whole amount.  It is rated against what the parents make per year. I would say NOT HALF pay the full tuition. In the last four years Kelly enrollment has increased by ten percent or around 40 students.  No clue on the cost of StAnnes and the feeder schools.  Alot of kids,  Doctors Lawyers and such select not going to Kelly, not because of the money but the load of the school work.  However that is speculation on reasons why.

It was great seeing all the old club players do so well.  They looked great and I was proud to have been part of their soccer lives.  They moved the ball fast and kept it at their feet with great touch.  It was one of the main reasons I was happy that Coach Luttrel asked if I wanted to help.  I wanted to coach against with are compete with them one more time.  It was also great coaching Aaron and Cameron one more time and Michael Cup has started in the last 91 games I have coached as a High School coach.  So a great night of soccer, and for sure proud of the play of all the young men. 

The boys side the South won... 4-2.  Nederland group was too much to handle.  Great time and great meeting the coaches from Liberty and Livingston.  They will do well in the future and are great guys.  Everyone should thanks Coach Luttrell for his time and effort in putting this together.  ALL THE KIDS LOVED IT and had fun...  also everyone should know that the Coaches for the SOUTH cheated and tripped our players many times as we had break aways.. great stuff butler and sandell.  But thats the way it goes... cheaters do win........................................ wink...  great game had fun.. congrats butler and sandell

I want to see Foxworth get it.  Great guy.. Knows soccer and at one time during his prime was really a very very good player.  And he loves the game.  FOX gets my vote

On the boys side..  THE NORTH WILL CRUSH THE SOUTH....  Butler and the Nederland gang has no chance even with the help of dem injuns and pirate folk..........  WE WILL DESTROY their team.....  unless your talkin about the soccer game itself ..maybe not.. so instead of soccer drills we worked on fighting and hand to hand combat cheap shots and anything else to gain an advantage..so we will start a riot following the game ONLY IF we are losing... SO thats my story and Im stickin to it.  Look for it to be a fun game...  on girls side.. GIRLS OF THE NORTH.. win...

Agree talent and chemisty will win most the time..

For all of those interested, Kelly is in fact working with the West Brook coach to set up a game.  Kelly will play in the West Brook tourament.  Another fact would be the teams that are winning the regions and or state are usually NOT LOADED with div one players but however have developed into a TEAM of players representing their school and playing hard for their friends.  That is more the reason Kelly was succesful than not. Brittany was strong in making these girls a team as was the fact that these girls have played club together for so long.  It develops a bond.  High School soccer is more about... not who has the strongest three players but how weak your weakest three are.  Club at the high levels well your fortunate to be loaded with all the best on one team so easy to coach and be great.  Club teams like the girls have played on and learned how to play together is important.  The sad part for high school soccer in this area the club system around here is broken.  With that all said.  Brittany left NOT because the girls are graduating but like RIP said she has three young young children who I imagine need a great mom more than the older girls need a GREAT coach.  She probably stayed for those senior girls because she had developed a bond that was probably the reason they were so succesful. As for this award and any others. BE HAPPY for who got what not why yours didnt get more. Putting down another kid is not going to change the fact and at least have class about all of this. 

Checking to see if there would be any interest in maybe trying to have another small sided season at Kelly starting after EASTER playing on Tuesday Wed Thursday each week.  Do not want teams to sign up and not show like last year.  Would prefer majority of the team to be High School age.  Just doing a survey.  Private message me on here and let me know or just tell me on here.  Try to get enough teams would be fun.  Cheap and make it work if possible Let me know.

Actually I was referring that you are a fan of Friendswood.  I have not studied the chat back and forth.  Just figured I would save the person questioning you the trouble of getting a long message back.  You always have said your a fan of the Lady Friendswood Soccer Program

He pulls for Friendswood programs.  Thus the name Friendswoood fan and yes they are still in the playoffs. so.... 

Out of curiosity .  Have you seen any Kelly games..........

dawggoneit.  It was an invitation to come watch two good teams play. It wasnt saying that BIGGIO and Thomas were anything special.  I actually intended that to help get some fans out to the park.  Always more fun to play in front of a crowd.  And there is always plenty of people that come out wearing their astros jerseys and such to get an autograph.  Bought talent.

St Thomas defending state champions will be playing at Kelly High School tomorrow. JV at 4 varsity at 7....come see some good baseball

Well said Never.  Blue Raider is in disguise.  What Vidor did the second half of district was impressive and nobody but the Brenham coach commented on it.  Like a coach I recently met.  Your only as good as the last game you have coached. However Wedel deserves credit for the turnaround of a young team. 

Soccer Stadium or Football?.  Since girls soccer stadium may have trouble holding the following of fans to that game.
