Hey Ryan,  Call me.  We do indoor at school every monday thru friday 1-2 or a lil longer .  So hot usually not much longer.  Good games though. 

Ghana moving on.  I am thinking Uruguay is a pretty good team.  my long shot to win it all.............  long shot or well not one of the big five .......  brazil,  spain,  argentina,  netherlands, germany,... I have enjoyed watching the Germans game.

Donovan did great.  Doesnt change the fact our defense is not good.  And thank goodness Torres is off the field.  Hope he sees no more action this cup.

That ref was horrible.  Had he been doing the USA game he would have probably sent off Dempsey ten seconds in.

First round  nobody can afford the loss so play conservative.  Second round now you have teams desperate to win,  and so they attack more leaving their back end open,  giving up goals, or they go forward and make chances and then get goals off the chances.  Its now about WINNING not just a tie.

Like the announcer said.  Anything that goes wrong this tournament will be blamed on the ball. \

FINAL SCHEDULE HAS BEEN POSTED............... LAST WEEK OF GAMES....

If the high school coaches can get their teams to at least play in the local league.  Then at least they are touching a soccer ball throughout the fall.  And go into the high school practice and season having seen games and played in games for a few months with their high school team mates.  They may not be playing in Houston or div one.  But they will at least have played together.  However some of the local youth just dont want to make the commitment for even ten saturdays in fall.  Coaches in high school should try anyway to push the kids out to the fields.  .

Looking for answers on a couple of things.  You high school guys need to help and answer.  Why is it you dont want to play any extra soccer,  like club or the small sided games. (yes i know SOME of you are very dedicated and play every day..) Teams have players on their rosters but not showing up.  Club teams dont form.  Is there a reason you dont want to play club in the fall to help your high school teams?  Until our club foundation is solid again the local high school programs will not be strong.  So young men and women playing soccer for their high schools.  Why dont you guys play club or other outside school soccer?

thats the tryout time and date for just the younger teams.  I was told now that the older teams hold tryouts together in june.  sorry I didnt understand they were different.  Obviously only concerned with the older...

I thought they were having one large tryout for the whole association in June.  So now people are allowed to host their own tryouts when they want.  Thats going to be great then.  Would like to have our own anyway.  Let me know thats great news.

First round of games went well.  Blew the whistle three time in three game for fouls.  One was a handball.  One a bad tackle. and one a bad throw.
