Hey sorry I havent been on here.  Play with the HJ team bullets.  Trying to keep it pretty much majority under college age.  Big difference in 9th grade and out of college haha.  Key is going to be having keepers on big goals.  Lots of practice for them.  Hopefully we will play thru the ifrst week of june.  Should be able to get games in.....  friendly and practice.  touching the ball as much as possible. Great I am sending an email to some coaches.  Hope to get them on the kids to try and make teams.five on the field plus a keeper.  So be similar to six a side.  More details when it comes closer.. Check and see if you can get a team.  And then we have three teams and surely more.

That is a possibiity.  Just a difference in 15 year olds playing 29 hahah.  Long as we keep it laid back.  NOT GOING TO BE exactly like a six a side league.  small field .. big goals.  Keepers get more action and harder.  More scoring.. (the american way) ;)... heck we may have a three point shot... We want it to be fast, fun, and safe.  and maybe actually improve

I am looking at having a small sided soccer league played at Kelly starting around May 1st.  Looking for high school players wanting to participate.  Maybe each high school gets a team or two.  Depending on the response on what days we play.  We will play the games around 530 and 630.  Girls also.  If we get enough girls teams and if not maybe co-ed.  Goals will be full side so great training for keepers.  The cost will be minimal and need waiver signed for insurance purposes.  Message me on here or call me on my cell phone.  409 719 2787 if any questions. 

I definitely understand going to Houston.  Its not for everyone for sure but the ones who can keep the grades up and make the two or three trips a week over for practice.  They will improve after playing with that talent that much each week.  Its all good for those who can balance both.  Good Luck

Look at the Dallas area in all classes of soccer including private school.  They have such a great club foundation that they will continue to build great high school programs.

As RC answered me.  This is not a club or select players team.  It is a High School team about their play in and for their high schools.  RC actually knows the game and does a great job trying to cover the sport.

I got to watch the Woodlands Mckinney game today for the first half and ten into the second half. What great soccer they played.  Really enjoyable soccer and a great setting for the playoffs. The Mckinney people brought a ton of folks there.  The outcome was great wish I could have seen it.      The Jesuits played to a tie at zeros in regulations.  Dallas Jesuit won in shootout 2-0     The Kingwood Park boys scored with six minutes left to go up 2-1 only for Frisco to score with three minutes left to tie it up.  Two overtimes and no score with KP missing a pk ... KP loses 2-0 in shootout.  A great game ... I have nothing on 4 A girls....  was a great setting ..

So with the stats center ref wants.  Would it really help select a team.  Lots of the stats are kept by a student from the school and rarely taken by a real stat person.  What is a shot on goal to one coach may not be to another, or may not be what is really considered a shot on goal.  An assist to alot of coaches is whoever passed the ball to the player that scored even if they dribble for two minutes and then score.  That is not an assist.  Stats can be turned in and you can say whatever you want them to be. Its a team that was picked by a soccer person from the B.E.  No matter who made the team and who makes all district teams, and who gets what awards.  It is always debated and griped about.........  Never ending .. 

Congratulations to Chloe of PNG.  I met her one day as she was out with another player practicing during the spring on her own.  All she wanted  was to get better and go play college.  She was out doing this on her own, obviously it helped, she got what she gave... and deserves her award.  She scored the most, and she is a team player.  Alot of other local girls played the same schedule and did not score as many.  You all can keep pointing out whatever you want.  The paper has been published and she has the award.  Lets be happy for the players that got Super Team,  congratulate them all.  And thank RC for putting it together.  And figure out a way to build the local club programs so our high school teams benefit.
