I’d like to see an offensive turnaround for BC, not sure it’s in the cards for them. If the offense shows up, it’s a shootout.

BC can't keep running the same tired plays over and over again and expect it to all of the sudden work. They have the athletes but they need better play calling and a new OC.  They have kids that play defense that can play offense as well but won't use them. I like to think they will work it out this week, but I said that last week too.

Honest question. I havent watched them once this year. If its the plays not the athletes. Previous years they averaged  what 30+ ppg with same plays?

 

Im hearing its athlete drop off. Not so much coaching.. now im reading this lol

BC ran the same crap plays last year but had Mungy to bail them out. BC still has great athletes but not the caliber of Mungy.  The offense needs to adjust to what they have now. BC basically has a decent running back and 2 good linebackers. Their receivers are athletic but haven't been able to catch.  I think it's both actually.

Ok this was the only take i meeded to see....

Factually They scored alot probably 30+ppg the previous year with mungy out or quiet the majority of the year.

Other than before this year started there was 0 complaints! Even crowned by most to repeat as DC... Now we have seen almost every excuse there is. We talk about how great of a coach they have..... Great coaching makes it work and makes adjustments and thats just not happening THUS far at BC. Just MY honest opinion. Right, wrong or indifferent.

I really don't know. I don't have kids in school anymore but there have been alot of complaints from adults the past few years. Probably not many of them on here. BC has their work cut out for them this year.

For someone who claims they don’t know much about BC football, and only going off of “complaints from adults the past few years”, you seem to know an awful lot when it comes to their lack of offense recently and defensive stats especially the LBs. BCs fall from grace has been something nobody expected, but I think it has a lot more to do with graduation and injuries to key players more than a lack of coaching. Im curious have you been to any of the games this year? What SHOULD BC be doing offensively?

I got a feeling Caveman has first hand knowledge (aka a son currently playing) and attends all games.

Wrong thread for this but my comparison is this and its program based. And all I know to compare it to with facts.

Im glad thats an excuse for the boys in red  because the boys in green and gold have still competed with worse. Just a few i have knowledge of...2026 (Senior starting RB out with broken collarbone) and also noted to be a younger group.

Still competed. Rarely have the luxury or several great athlete groups in a row...  Hardly talked about as a team to potentially miss playoffs in a cake district. And that comes down to the coaching and what you're doing to prepare undrrclassmen to step up. Challenging? Absolutely... excuse for losing in one of the worst districts in the state of texas? Probably not IMO.. Most halfway decent similar sized programs likely can make the playoffs in our dist. suiting their jv squad.

 

And all that hype about the leader you have now dont produce? Find a better one. Unfortunately its a results based business. Otherwise they dont opt up and being just a motivational speaker won't work. Which one is it? Time will tell. Im not blaming the kids. Or lack there of whatever we wanna call it.
