Brenham is better than anyone we’ve played, and big in the trenches. We’ll play them tough and hopefully get better. We’re better than anyone they’ve played this season too. But I’m having trouble finding their weaknesses. This is a perfect game to be humbled and develop for the long term. Be there in numbers and be loud.

The biggest thing that sticks out to me for this PNG team is our inability to get into the end zone from short yardage. We had the ball in the red zone at least three times against Crawford and we couldn’t just punch it in. We had it on the 30 against PAM with an opportunity to go up by at least 10 and we couldn’t turn it into points. That’s just not a position we’ve seen png in during the Jeff Joseph era. It’s hard to think we’ll win any game against state contenders if we can’t fix it. I’m hoping we can.

As much as i want PNG to win i dont see it.. another tough test, a longgg drive.. i think brenham takes this one by 10. 
PNG starts slow and isnt able to recover

They've been regular ever since the completely undefeated 1946 season.  Just ask my father in law, he was on that team.

Historical records are going to continue to be broken with Coach Joseph.  I see that the 13-3 state finalist record from 2022 was omitted from the trend?  I see another 13-3 record for 2026.  That already surpasses the defining 70's.

I dont see it Ethridge could have kept the PN-G job despite being a .500 winning percentage coach after 1977 its the same with Joseph IMO

I would far rather play powerful, speed teams in the preseason.  It will prepare us for district.  PNG needs to clean up their play & we will see the playoffs again.
