Bellville @ Needville

Both first teams ran 12 plays consecutively. Bellville scored once Needville didn’t score. Bellville hired a coach that was at Liberty Hill and he has brought more of the Liberty Hill version of the Slot T/Wing T with him

Any update on varsity? Is it game style or scripted number of plays type scrimmage

No scores in scripted 1st part. Game style half now with WOS moving the ball well in 1st possession

Outscored, out played, won???  Same difference Aggies

In my book, if don't go down in the official won/loss records, it's not a win or a loss. Just my humble opinion.

Vidor offense shooting themselves in foot or west orange defense as good as advertised? Figured that unit would carry the team to state this year

Defense is as advertised. Vidor has some size compared to us. But speed kills. Vidor should have no problem making playoffs if they stay healthy.

WOS at PNG next week should be entertaining. Havnt been there since the OT loss few years back

Let's go meet em

Nederland looked good. I'm guessing the QB was Lane. He made a nice throw moving to his left. He looked poised and has a strong arm. The defense looked liked they have some size finally. They were in the backfield most of the time. Only concern is the O-Line.

Just a few thoughts from Woodville/Lumberton scrimmage:

Pretty vanilla from both sides on offense. But Woodville offense did move the ball a little better than Lumberton.

Woodville platooned two QB's. Of course neither are on the level of Babin but they can win games with those two. Still running a spread offense. Woodville has to take care of the ball better. Had about 5 fumbles (4 from same player).

Lumberton never could get any rhythm in their offense. QB could have been sacked several times. Starting QB (Mitchell) played the first 12 to 15 plays but that was about it. But I didn't stay for the overtime condition part so not sure if he played during that part.

Complete controlled scrimmage, no live play at all.

Both teams have work to do.

Must have been during the overtime part. Nobody scored in those first two sets of 12 plays and set of 10 plays. 34 plays for each team and not a score.

Deweyville and Warren started sloppy.

Overall Deweyville will have a stout defense if they stay healthy. The offense is a work in progress had a few explosive plays and a few missed opportunities. In live action Deweyville -1 Warren - 0

Take aways for both teams is about the same.

Defense will be the strength of the team while the offense figures things out.

Won???? Lol

When one team scores more times than the other. Yall kill me with there’s no winners in a scrimmage. If that’s case, don’t call a td a td in scrimmage. Or crossing the goaline don’t mean anything smh

Nederland bested Bridge City 3 td’s to 0.  Defense looked good.  Offense wasn’t too bad.  The RB Ned ran pretty good.  There was another RB that did pretty good.  The QB situation needs work.
