District Playoff Spot Scenarios/Updated Feb. 11

With one and a half weeks left in regular season, let's take a look at playoff spot scenarios (who has clinched, who can clinch this week, who has been eliminated, what division, what seed)

I will post each coverage area district standings going into this week's games. I will only list the teams that have clinched or still in the playoff hunt. Teams that have been eliminated will not be in the district standings.

Also, I will only list seeds if they have been clinched.

 

23-6A

1. Atascocita        11-0         clinched D1 #1 seed

2. North Shore     9-2           clinched D1 #2 seed

Eliminated: Kingwood, Goose Creek Memorial, Channelview

 

Summer Creek has at North Shore, at Channelview, Atascocita (SC can clinch with 2 wins or 1 win and a CE King loss or 2 CE King losses)

Humble has at Kingwood, at North Shore, Channelview (Humble can clinch with 2 wins or 1 win and a CE King loss or 2 CE King losses)

CE King has at Channelview, at Atascocita, Goose Creek Memorial (CE King needs all 3 wins and SC or Humble to lose 2 or 3 to clinch or tie)

Not that I know of.

HoopInsider used to keep up with district standings for every district but they stopped doing that a few years ago. Now they only keep up with Top 25 results.

If you are looking for District 26-2A standings that will play District 25-2A in first round, these are the standings that are on Maxpreps:

1. Hearne                     9-0

2. Mumford                 8-1

7. Somerville             0-9

 

I have no clue as to what divisions these schools would play.
