pakronos Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago So nobody gonna talk about the offensive lineman that kicked the SOC player while he was on the ground? I don’t wanna hear NOTHING about class and PNG in the same sentence unless it’s about graduation. DISGUSTING!!! CS. 1 Quote

The effect is the same. The post I replied to from The Missing Band I’d rather lose with our kids that grew up here than win with some kids who stopped here for part of a season. Quote

Yall have had the best of every thing and STILL can’t beat PAM. Sounds like sore losers Like I said… it’s a different way of thinking and it’s unreasonable to expect you to understand. CS. 1 Quote

I know you're not talking to me, but those PAM - PNG games were all pretty good games, even the '22 game, and in each one the best team won, IMO. As far as last night, the best team won, period. PNG missed Bailey for sure, but I don't believe the game would have gone the other way. The offense wasn't clicking, and there's been too many dropped passes all season, regardless of the scores. Still, it was a good season, and to be ranked 3rd in the state ain't too shabby. As far as the player kicking, I didn't see it but I heard about it. I guarantee when Coach J. sees it if he didn't already, there'll be a price to pay for that. Quote

I’m sure you’d accept that standard being applied to Port Arthur. Quote
kirkwood29 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Wait a minute. I'm not from these areas, but why are PAM fans going after PNG fans ? Did I miss something here? Is this southeast Texas on southeast Texas crime? Quote

So that whole "super team" thing sounds like tears. Sure, a program's success can serve as a recruitment tool, but anyone in the know will tell you SOC lends out more talent than they get. Duncanville's last 5 star lived in SOC's community. As well as a ton of Desoto's starters. SOC sent more players to the NFL than any other high school long before they sniffed a State Title appearance. The community has ALWAYS been overflowing with talent. SOC's problem has always been inadequate coaching and facilities. Now that they've caught up in those areas, folk are whining about the talent that has always been there. PNG does well to compete wuth the like of SOC, just like any community. Be humble and enjoy the experience My memory may be a little clouded but I just recall some controversy about a qb that was trying to transfer to SOC if I'm not mistaking. Several others who have successfully transferred in over the years also. I may be wrong about any blatant cheating but I'm pretty sure SOC and some other DFW schools (especially Duncanville) are utilizing some advantages some schools in more rural areas don't have when it comes to drawing pools. Good win for SOC though. Quote
