TxAthlete409 Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM I know a lot of us have been avoiding this topic. LOL #1 Franklin vs last I looked #28 Orangefield. Franklin running an offense Orangefield has struggled with once already this year. What’s y’all’s thoughts? Quote

TxAthlete409 Posted Tuesday at 09:52 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 09:52 PM Since everyone else is picking Franklin. I'm gonna say Orangefield 34-31. Franklin goes in over confident plays a few back-ups trying to stay healthy for the game against Columbus. Falls behind and cant catch up. Orangefield and Hardin meet back up for the regional championship. LOL AP_5309 1 Quote

Bobcat101 Posted yesterday at 01:22 PM Report Posted yesterday at 01:22 PM I’m not sure how good Franklins defense is. I know they’ve given up some points but have locked down some offense. Is Franklins defense good because the offense eat the clock & give the other offense little time or do they stuff the other offense. I know Orangefield only had the ball one in the first half vs Hardin & scored in under 3 mins. one play that probably shouldn’t have happened at the end of the 1st half changed the game. But that old history. I guess we’ll see tomorrow. What’s the weather look like. TxAthlete409 1 Quote

Held #1 4AD1 Celina to 33 (lowest on the season) and they scored twice in the 4th.... gave up a bunch to houston legacy but so did #6 5AD1 PAM.... Most of the scores in district came late with back ups in. It was 28-0 before Hallettsville scored a TD last week. Franklin can eat clock or score fast depending on what the coach wants to do. But I guess we will see and I'm willing to bet this is the best offense Orangefield has seen this season. But lets look at the schedules of who they played also. #1 Celina, Houston Legacy, China Spring(who just beat #7 Bellville), Lorena who was putting up video game numbers till the QB went down. I do like Orandfields QB he is a big boy and runs hard. Quote

Bobcat101 Posted yesterday at 02:51 PM Report Posted yesterday at 02:51 PM @lionpride08 Ya. The more I look into it, Franklin just has decent size over all. Big line, big RB. Maybe they have an off day. But hey, games aren’t won on the stat sheet. I do know a guy from Franklin & I’ve tried to talk smack but he won’t bite (lol)…. Just humble & let’s the team record speak for themselves. I think Orangefield can score, just will have trouble stopping them may be a shootout. Orangefield is not scare to pass that for sure if we score we have to have the best game by all, WR, RB & the QB & especially the DL/OL I guess the entire team TxAthlete409 and lionpride08 2 Quote

But I sure hope you are right and they are nothing a like because we cant stop the run up the middle like Hardin was doing. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 09:22 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:22 PM DCTF has Franklin as a 20 point favorite. Quote

But Hardin runs a double wing and stays true to it. Franklin's bread and butter is the Slot-t. TxAthlete409 1 Quote
