Distric 10-3a D1 Distric Champions Hardin Hornets

51 years since last Distric championship, this team is special. Coaching is fantastic, Boys playing hard week in and week out. Lots of History being made this season for the Hardin Hornets Football Program.

I believe they finished that season at 8-2 and if I remember correctly, Larry Haynes was the QB.

My sophomore year at Hardin we moved from 2A to 3A for the first time. We played our former 2A opponents as non district games and were undefeated going into district. I was a starting LB and I’ll never forget coming from small town Hardin into Beaumont and playing in this huge stadium lol. I think we won 2 or3 district games, I’ll always wonder about “what could have been” if we had stayed 2A that year. Johnny Marsh at QB, Anthony Scott and Daniel Marsh at running backs, man what a team that was. I’m super proud of this years team, way to go boys!!

Hey now not so fast they have to get past Kirbyville first. They could be Co-District Champs. 😂 If Orangefield beats Buna and Kirbyville pulls out the upset.

Congratulations Great job hornets great team. Hoping district 10 sweeps District 9 this year since the last two years they swept us. Who ever pulls Fairfield will be fighting an uphill battle for sure. Hardin should be good the first round. The others are difficult to tell right now.

They’ve clinched #1.  Even if they were to lose to KV, they have the tiebreaker over OF.

I like your optimism.. but Hardin gets the trophy this year by themselves.

I was being facetious. But even though they would get the number one seed in playoffs from the tiebreaker. UIL would label it as Co-District Champs. But to be clear I’m more worried about Buna beating Orangefield than Kirbyville beating Hardin.

when does hardin play kirbyville?  i have heard it was on thursday but i also saw somewhere that it was Friday?  good luck to the hornets on trying to finish 10-0.  Is that game in Hardin or in Kirbyville?

All 10-3A DI games this week are Thursday games.

Hardin is at Kirbyville.

Same thing with the 94-95 and 95-96 teams. They were one student over.

You can think what you want. East Chambers won district both years and Hardin beat them. If you weren't on the field then your opinion doesn't matter. I played both games. 🤷🏾‍♂️
