NHSBulldogFan Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Im a Nederland Fan through and through ill say this about this year's game...the level of disrespect that was shown after the end of the game last year at PN-G is about to be paid back in spades...im hoping the anything can happen in Mid County Madness card will rear its head but im not optimistic Quote
Bigdog Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Although this team (Ned)hasn’t played well much this season they have been trying hard to stay in games and don’t give up. Add in McM I think the game will be closer than most think. Ned will give PNG a full four quarters win or lose. Any updates on injuries? Quote
NDNWarrior Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago This years MCM will be a classic as it always has been. I’m not going to make a score prediction, but I don’t think Nederland will be able to stop PNG this year. PNG will stay undefeated. Scalp ‘em, Indians! Quote
1970 Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago If PNG wins, it's just meh; if they lose it's a slap in the face. Ned has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Expect offensive trickery, defensive stunts, and never give up attitude. A fumble here, an interception there, a blocked punt, a bad (or good) penalty call or two, and you never know. Like 2 brothers, (or 2 sisters), 1 year apart in age, in a fight. You never know. Otherwise, if it was any other game, PNG wins easily. Quote

spidersal Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago If Nederland had any type of defense I think it would be close but they don’t, so I am going to say PNG around 42 Nederland 7 Quote
pine curtain Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago How is NED liking their new coach now???? Quote
Stattrax Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago My once a year post. Last year I pretty Much laid it out how it ended. Trap game and PNG was super flat. I do think without that win last year, Nederland would not be super happy with their coach. IMO it has given them hope, other than last year’s win, Nederland doesn’t have much to be positive about. This year’s take is the same, but different. Trap game? 100%, but Joesph will have us ready to play this year. I do not predict a blow out, but I do not see Nederland winning this game. They will throw the kitchen sink at us, but in the end, little brother will remain little brother. I’ll take PNG. Closer game than most will predict. In the end, without uncle Larry, Nederland is the old Nederland. The rah rahs will say Nederland is better than they have played. Truth is, maybe, but Nederland fans have always lived on the Uncle Larry era. And that’s simply over. PNG for the win.. But on a positive for the Pups, at least you will get some state wide attention this week because of the rivalry aspect. You heard it here first. And if any have taken this post as negative, I do have a peace offering. We have a trophy case across the tracks if any of you would like to come see what relevance looks like!!! PNG….. Enough said…….. NDNWarrior, CS., badndn and 1 other 1 2 1 Quote

cal81 Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago This is not a trap game. And PN-G will win big. I guarantee it. Quote

They are pouring into our kids and we are thankful for that. The amount of senior leadership we lost last season is proving to be the difference. A lot of lessons are being learned by our young team but they fight until the very end. Better make the most of your opportunity now because Nederland is going to be loaded for the next several years with a coaching staff that is more than capable of getting the most out of them, both on and off the field. Enough said…….. Usually you are pretty spot on. However in this post I see a little lack of knowledge or maybe you are just being nice. I am not sure which. There are other things at Nederland that are not under Coach Rich's control. I believe he is a better coach than you believe he is. Reagan 1 Quote
spidersal Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I think Coach Rich is a good coach. I question the defensive staff. In his 2 years there the defense has been horrendous They must address that in the off season. The other thing that must improve is the passing game Hopefully they can get these issues fixed. 10-11 record after his 1st 2 seasons Quote
navydawg31 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago The 3-4 defense does not fit the bulldogs well… I will leave it at that. Quote
png9mon Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I have no doubt Nederland will be ready. PNG just needs to play to their capable ability. Each team will capitalize on every mistake. No predictions from me. Let's just play this one, and not have injuries. Defense could very well determine the outcome of this one. Got to love MCM.👍🏈 Quote
