Hate to be a pessimist but with the schedule ahead of them I’d say by the time district gets here WOS won’t be the leader anymore Updated in WOS 2025 topic. The weeks are numbered. Won't be long. In the last few years ive seen it with the shotgun. Is that coached on the college level? Or anywhere? And yes we had a bad snap on that one too. Seems like thinking outside the box is a bad recipe for someone who cant cook but manages a kitchen. Quote

Absolutely it’s coached in the college level. Went to Lamar open practice and they yelled it out victory formation. What they do? Kneel the ball. Quote

How many periods do you think should be allocated towards something that almost never happens? HS practices are very limited in time. There are many things that receive coaching time in college/NFL that are practiced minimally or never in high school. So expecting to win doesn’t happen very often? Running the 2 min offense doesn’t either? It’s all about coaching. There’s before and after school and in the period at school. Ample amount of time… strictly on the coaching. The coaches did not prepare the kid or team. Gasilla 1 Quote

wo-s#1 Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Can’t ever figure out why people are so protective over a coach who has been flat out horrible “and I don’t know how anyone could deny that …every job I’ve ever had I was expected to be productive,I’ve never been fired but seen a bunch get it…what’s the difference here? They knew him and his family. I was told this reason alone is why he was hired over someone with actual required job qualifications. They didnt know him because they were all brought in by Harris and the buddy system. Would you go against the boss that gave you a gravy job? Especially when you didnt have the required qualifications when you were hired. We won't even get into the other athletic dept hires. Hey did u hear volleyball finally won a match... against Burkeville. Quote

I'm just the area alone w.o is one of the worse coached team in the area.unless the kids do something on there on.its no way they will win district!! Silsbee and HF are better coached teams. I watched HF last week against LCM and the position there coaching staff put that young QB in.i applaud them for that.and silsbee is doing the same thing with there Yung QB. Ppl don't realize w.o has a oline man calling plays.im still trying to figure it out.ik, everyone trust to be positive but, something weren't meant to be.and this was a bad experience.and the kids are suffering bcz of it. sorry, memorial got yall beat as far as worse coached. Darth Texas Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I’m telling you: Calling the defense the “blue link” (which, as far as I can tell, no one but administrators and game announcers use, because it sounds stupid) is bad juju. Ever since the name change, WOS hasn’t been the same. wo-s#1 1 Quote

spidersal Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Dog bite, we have a tell of 2 district seasons for the Bulldogs Last year the Bulldogs had a pretty good offense minus the passing game, however the defense was horrendous This season so far, has the defense playing well minus the poor tackling, however the offense has not been good, especially the passing game The coaching staff is doing a fantastic job and I believe we will see a lot of improvement The statement that the Dogs better improve a bunch is because so far Dayton, Huntsville, Montgomery, and PNG are showing a lot of improvement from last season, especially on offense and the Bulldogs were 2-2 against those teams last year Quote
