I guess with the Stangs losing and Southlake Carroll winning last night they shaved some more off the narrow lead that WOS had. Hate to be a pessimist but with the schedule ahead of them I’d say by the time district gets here WOS won’t be the leader anymore

Updated in WOS 2025 topic. The weeks are numbered. Won't be long.

Kneeling the ball aka Victory formation.

In the last few years ive seen it with the shotgun. Is that coached on the college level? Or anywhere? And yes we had a bad snap on that one too.

Seems like thinking outside the box is a bad recipe for someone who cant cook but manages a kitchen.

Absolutely it’s coached in the college level. Went to Lamar open practice and they yelled it out victory formation. What they do? Kneel the ball.

That was a correct statement. Those situations are not coached much. How many periods do you think should be allocated towards something that almost never happens? HS practices are very limited in time. There are many things that receive coaching time in college/NFL that are practiced minimally or never in high school.

So expecting to win doesn’t happen very often?  Running the 2 min offense doesn’t either? It’s all about coaching. There’s before and after school and in the period at school. Ample amount of time… strictly on the coaching. The coaches did not prepare the kid or team.

Can’t ever figure out why people are so protective over a coach who has been flat out horrible “and I don’t know how anyone could deny that …every job I’ve ever had I was expected to be productive,I’ve never been fired but seen a bunch get it…what’s the difference here?

They knew him and his family. I was told this reason alone is why he was hired over someone with actual required job qualifications. They didnt know him because they were all brought in by Harris and the buddy system.

Would you go against the boss that gave you a gravy job? Especially when you didnt have the required qualifications when you were hired.

We won't even get into the other athletic dept hires.

Hey did u hear volleyball finally won a match... against Burkeville.
