The kids deserve better!!  Prime example if you have to coach. W.o want beat many teams that has a descent coaching staff. Hopefully the school board does the right thing for once and put the kids needs first.4 yrs of this doesn't make any since at all

That’s what I saw watching live…. That falls straight in WOS coaching staff. 
 

what I saw watching tonight is Nederland out coached WOS by MILES. Nederland went 2-0 in this series against WOS. You don’t see that happen very often.

Football is all about matchups and we didn’t match up well from the get go…physically,mentally,or coachinglly lol,however a few plays that maybe someone has video of could have been a huge momentum swinger.A safety seemed to be missed by the referee,and a fumble by WOS qb that didn’t seem to be”looking at the replay” either way it’s a L ..congrats to Nederland

Correct he kneeled instead of spiking it..and that’s straight on the coaching staff,I learned tonight who the qb coach is and I am not at all surprised..he may not know either

My thoughts:  On offense, I think the QB will be ok, they aren’t throwing down field much, but there were also some drops.  He seems to be pretty accurate and will stand in the pocket. Obviously Ned is a good replacement for the RB last year. The oline held up pretty well.

Defense:  they are tough inside and held up well against the WOS inside run game, but the LBs and DEs didn’t get to the edges very well and help the corners to contain. The DBs did pretty good in the passing game with a couple of exceptions.  The DL got in the backfield often and got three sacks I believe.

I only watched in bits and pieces but there were a few plays where Coach Thompson would have been biting straight through his clipboard. Also, whatever problems Nederland has, their d-line is legit.

Maybe but don’t judge off this game because they were almost unchallenged…

There's only so much you can blame on coaching even a middle school qb knows not to kneel the ball with time running out in the 4th Quarter with no timeouts and down by 8

He probably did know,the problem is the game was moving too fast for him and he wasn’t prepared for that moment…and that’s directly on the coach.period
