They didn’t lose anything to graduation from last year?  Opposing teams haven’t gotten a year older/stronger/faster ?  Opposing coaches haven’t also changed staffs or been exposed to different preparatory programs?

No.. A TON has changed.  As does everywhere.

OF lost several from last year as well. We just simply didn't put the right guys on the field defensively. Offensively the OLine struggled as expected but not having the right guys on D made it super easy for OF. They ran through our front line like a wet paper bag and it's mostly because we didn't have the right guys out there

I’m just saying.. if any one single person is missing from last year’s team (especially if it was an impact player), then the team is different.  Even it’s the same exact players, the team is different.  Everybody grows and offseasons differently from one year to the next.  That’s including opponents.  And to imply that it “should” be a certain way because of something that happened several years in the past, or even a year ago, is a little… dumb.

Always take into consideration that a lot changes from year to year.  For every team/player/coach.  Don’t ever assume the characteristics are identical.  They’re not.

Woodville give this new coach a chance. Look at us…. We lost the first few games last year & everyone was gathering the pitch forks , now they are getting crow. 
 

look at WOS, came back & beat Newton with the same coaching staff as last year. 
 

your not helping the coaches & your killing the kids morale.

Yes OF has two of the three best players in the District and was always going to win this game. WV lost several key players from last year. No one should have though WV would beat OF in this game if they knew the rosters.

Well. Tell us who should play DL. I’d be interested in seeing the line up. I think O (Not OF) offensive line played hard. Remember Breaux was a OL Coach at the collegiate level

You definitely said, “Nothing has changed till this year”.. implying that the new coaching staff didn’t have the right guys in the right place or whatever you’re blaming them for .. eliminating all responsibility for the players that, while not the same roster as last year,.. have been “winning since peewee”.  So that couldn’t possibly be the reason.

Same excuses different year.. different school.  WV has the best season in school history (right?), then loses some of the ones responsible, and loses first game to a team projected to win their district in a higher classification.. “The coaches had them out of position. These kids have won forever. Blah blah blah..”

No need to bother, my man.  People in the know understand what makes a successful program and it all starts with coaching.  But, you can have your opinion about everything happens in a straight line to defend your position.

I agree with the O-Line statement.  We still have to work into the new system Coach as in and people are warming up to him now so us Trojan fans have to trust in the process for now.

They're not but they can definitely beat anyone in our district for sure even the upcoming Hardin Hornets but that's just my opinion.
