Is it players were moved to that side of the ball, new DC and scheme, or better group of kids this year than years past?

I would say a more PREPARED group of kids. Lots of kids back from last year, but the defense is 100% better. This years team is a TEAM. The DC has done excellent preparation for each game. The kids are in the right places at the right times, but all that is nothing if they can't tackle, and like Chief Joseph said, these kids are playing with great effort. GREAT EFFORT. You can see it, you can FEEL it  in the stadium. Every struggle in every game makes them better. This team has FIGHT and they don't give up. I think that's a credit to the Coaches, the players, the parents, and the community.

But you know all this. You're a PNG Indian.

Has anyone noticed that there are no names on the backs of jersey's? I like it. They usually have them on for the 1st playoff game.

That's RIGHT! Coach Wilson. He also played football for the Pirates. Also Coach Bradley coached at Vidor.

I read thru our football program. They have a write up on each coach...lol

Yes.. I forgot about him.  That’s been some years ago.
coach Bradley was at Vidor last year

 & Predictions

Neutral Field
[2022] Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) 35  (60%)

[2022] Liberty Hill (TX) 31 (40%)

Looks like the smart analytics guys & football computers give PNG a 4 point edge & 60% chance to win this week.

If y’all have Ex Vidor Coaches y’all should know all you need to know about the Slot T.  Vidor learns from LH, who obviously have a few better players, but most of the plan is the same.  On the down side, I’m sure, anticipating things like this, the LH HC keeps a little back, thus my bold “most” in the previous sentence.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
