Not bad stats from the Silsbee QB and good job leading the team to victory.   Looks like the right kid for the job if you ask me...

I think you could tell which team played last week and the team that did not. After all that momentum we gained after the Nederland win we had to wait an extra week to compound on it. Any time you can get on the football field is good, no matter who you play. Our offense was nothing to brag about last night, not consistent, good at times, struggled at times, penalties hurt. Thing is we know our offense is better and will get better. Our defense was the difference last night. I think Lumberton's personal is suited for the slot-t. Other than two running plays we kelp the Raiders bottled up. Our front line causing havoc, linebackers making plays and secondary getting INTs. There's still two or three that need to go back to tackling school but all and all the defense is looking better.

Wasn't one of his better games, that's for sure.

Needs to get better protecting the ball.

Defense led this team to victory last night, not the QB.

Silsbee barely beating slot t boys from Lumberton should worry tiger fans in regards to the postseason. Silsbee will need to get better on the second and third level when it comes to tackling. Silsbee will also need to expand their passing game as well seeing as anytime they threw it it went to number 1. Lumberton played a heck of a game, they just cant have that many turnovers against an explosive team like Silsbee. L-Train defense is for real and Silsbee has numerous weapons on offense. Good luck to both of these schools in district play.
