A&M beat UT Arlington 10-5.  Decent midweek win over a probably tourney team.  Headed to Ole Miss this weekend. 

Great win for my Bobcats. Terrible loss for the Longhorns.

Texas fans will be calling for Pierce's job.

Elder looks excellent early on and Fields tossing 2.1 innings for the save was huge. I really enjoy watching this team. The freshman presidents (Kennedy, Reagan, and Ford) will continue to get better.

Bad weekend at The Grove for A&M.  Ole Miss completed the sweep with 2 of the wins via walkoffs.  

Sam tonight and at home against #6 Miss St this weekend.  Ags need to go 3-1 this weekend to keep their host chances alive 

 

Not much better for Texas as they lost the series to WV and are now 6-11 in conference. 

A&M CC tonight and at Kansas this weekend.  They need to go 4-0 this week or they may be watching the postseason from home

A&M will need a good series this weekend to secure a host spot.  

 

Oklahoma at Texas 

Texas beat Incarnate Word tonight to move to 26-25 on the season. They will need to win the Big 12 Tourney to make the postseason.

Texas seals their fate in a 4-2 loss last night. Crazy season.

A&M went 1-2 in the SEC Tourney.  They are a borderline regional host 

Weber went 7.1 of no hit shutout ball.  Lost 2-0 on a walkoff bomb in the bottom of 9 against Georgia yesterday.

 

Today Doxakis went 8 innings of no hit ball against Ole Miss.  Lost 1-0

 

2 of the better pitching performances you will see that were wasted.  Ags have allowed 5 hits and 3 runs the last 2 days combined and lost both games.  It’s really hard to win when you can’t score.

And here are the conferences with the  most players drafted:

 

• SEC - 88

• Pac-12 - 70

• ACC - 69

• Big 12 - 48

• Big Ten - 42

 

317 of 1,217 picks (26%) were from those five conferences. And 46% of college players drafted were from those five leagues.

 

 

With the #mlbdraft completed, here’s a look at the Division I schools that had the most players picked:

 

1. Vandy - 13

2. UCLA - 12

3. Mississippi State - 11

4. UCSB - 10

    Indiana - 10

6. UNC - 9

    Stanford - 9

    TCU - 9

 

686 of 1,217 picks (56%) were Division I players.

      If the voting public is so flaky that 3/4 will turn against her because of this news, why didn't they also turn on Obama when it was discovered that he actually ate dog? Maybe because the media didn't play up his transgressions? And if that is the case, how much power does the media have? They can sink a career for killing a dog, but dismiss and bury a story of eating a dog? How influential would the media be if someone other that Trump won the nomination. Let's say DeSantis was the Republican frontrunner...how easy would it be for the media to bury his candidacy...instead of him having that perceived cakewalk to president? I'm just thinking out loud.
