I think you would be surprised. It is not publicized, but most schools that want to be good at baseball play fall baseball.  

This is why I would never make the head football coach the athletic director at a small school. They have a 1 tract mind when it comes to the athletic program as a whole. Jasper is not the only school going through this . Keep in mind they have arguably the best athletes in the state and cannot win in the other sports. A true athlete is good no matter what sport he or she plays. If they have a true athletic program they will all be successful.

She's a Republican so I'm sure the media will ethically and responsibly report the story.

Depending on what actually happened, she may deserve whatever she gets.  It sounds like there's a pretty credible chance that she shot the dog for basically no reason, in contrast to how she's trying to spin it.
