#10 Woodville (9-1) vs Anahuac (4-6)

Recommended Posts

The #10 (DCTF) Woodville Eagles (9-1)(6-0) and the Anahuac Panthers (4-6)(2-3) will both travel to Dayton, Texas for a Bi-district playoff match. On paper, this looks like a huge mismatch, but the Panthers have been playing well as of late. Woodville is coming off a convincing win over a good Coldspring-Oakhurst team, 31-18, while the Panthers come off a surprising blowout of perennial playoff contender East Chambers, 49-28. As well as Anahuac has been playing, I still feel like Woodville is the heavy favorite.

Woodville 42

Anahuac 14

Winner faces the winner of Cameron Yoe/West (7:30pm on Friday, at Waco ISD)

They ended a 21-year playoff run lol and yeah....let's not speak of that school. From now on they are called "that school that shall not be named" on this thread.

How about just one round or game at a time........I got the Eagles and I don't care if its 10-9 or 21-20, as long as we have the 10 or 21. As always throw out the records they are both 0-0 now. Either win or put the _hit back in the field house !!

We are bouncing the round ball...who's coming to join us lol

The Panthers of Anahuac "should" lose this game. But shoulda, coulda, and woulda are like the 3 stooges. Unreliable, logically pointless, and purely for entertainment purposes.

Woodville is athletic enough to put up 50-60 points on the board. I don't think that's much of a debate. I think Anahuac's offense has progressed alot over the last few games, so I think they'll score at least a couple times. Hopefully not, but if I'm being realistic, they have the talent to put up a few points.

Eagles1 is getting better, It is just hard for him to go from the tea drinking politically correct  environment to a blue collar hard nose say what you mean tone. He is catching on quick though. To bad we didn't have Newton on the schedule this year. Would have been interesting.

Woodville always plays Newton hard, you speak the truth would be a good game, but the Eagles would win lol

I'm really happy to see Woodville playing this kind of ball. I have been rooting for them all season and i hope to see them upset a lot of teams in the playoffs. But, Newton shouldn't be in this conversation. Newton would win this game convincingly being that they're really, really good this year. Good luck, Woodville. Go win six more games and hopefully join Newton in Arlington. :)
