How The (AL) West Will Be Won

Recommended Posts

It was state-of-the-art in its day. Looked like something Atari would have invented.

Good to reminisce, but today's Astros are just about done. Do we still have a wild card chance?

I hope, but I think they are prolly done.  They have to win the next 2 to have any chance.  It's hard to make the playoffs without clutch hitting and a strong bullpen.  The homer is nice, but not when it comes with a .230 avg.

Just saw where the Rangers can clinch a playoff berth with a win tonight, which should mean they have 4 shots to win one game against the Angels to clinch a playoff spot.  That being said, winning the division is the main goal here, and might take two wins out of four.

Rangers have given up 5 in the top of the 9th to go down 1 run.  Absolutely horrific pitching.  Coaches deserve a large chunk of the blame for bringing out the closer for the 5th straight day.  He gave up two homers in 4 pitches and was pulled. Out of his 5 straight appearances, 2 were save opportunities. Poor management
