John Tyler vs Plano week 1

This will be the fourth time these two teams will meet with JT holding a 2-1 lead on the series. The last time Plano beat JT was 1978 the game was a tire 0-0 in the playoffs with Plano winning on first downs. Since, then Cujo beat the Wildcats 21-14 in 2000 on their way to state championship appearance and to Katy 35-20.

Last season was the first time these two teams met, since, 2000. JT won contest 30-12 on the back of their defense. Whereas, this season Cujo will be leaning on their offense until (JT) their defense can catch up.

John Tyler enters this contest ranked number eight in the state.

I like JT in  this one though the Cujo defense will have to stop one of the better running backs in the state.

this is true, they were able to do it last season. JT is going to need big games from their two returning DT to win this game.
